I just hope the announcement is made leaving people enough time to make plans to get there. The longer they wait, the more expensive plan fare will get. Hotels will book up quick too, it's already going to be hard enough to find cheap plan fare during the summer, the hotel prices are going to be insane!

lol well good news - we ARE organising a convention for Australia! (a group of us from the various Aussie forums)

I wonder if they have a convention is Asia, South East Asia etc.
There are alot of Twilight Fans out here in Asia too. If they would hold in a country like Singapore , Malaysia, Thailand, there would be a overwhelming response.
I am speaking for the fans out in Asia . I am 100% sure that the fans would want a convention here. =)

does anyone know if the lex is hosting a con?
that would be so cool?
oh and does anyone know any cool sites for t-shirts other than steph's page
and the lex?
just wanna make sure i see all that is out there!

No official word on the Lex hosting a Con. These type of events are hard to organize and require lots of time. Many of the Administrators and Mods have several things going on in their own lives in addition to the Lex, so those factors should be taken into consideration, just my opinion!
A good place to look for shirts is cafepress.com. Also, Hot Topic has the official Twilight shirts, if you can't make it to a store, you can order them online.

I can 100% guarantee to you that the Lex is not running a con. Some of our admins might attend one, or be working on Twicon, but that is out of their own personal time and interest. It's nothing personal against any con, but elizabeth put it we've got our plates pretty full.
