That is an interesting question.

I think that Alice would have an extravagant wedding because she knew that she only needed one so she would go all out for it, but I think Rosalie would always have super extravagant weddings. So maybe Alice's would have been a little edgier for her time. I could see Rosalie doing like the whole fairytale princess thing.

i don't think that they have an extravagant wedding.. alice and jasper is not that "showy" on their relationship and they don't need to get that much attention when it comes to the wedding.. unlike rosalie, who's into vanity and stuff.. and i think alice enjoyed planning more than being in the wedding...

alice and jasper focused on marriage not the wedding.. well that's just what i think

Do you know what?- i tend to agree with you.... Alice would have still gotten carried away with the planning but that doesn t mean it has to be extravagant. Obviously Jasper would have been happy with whatever Alice wanted. :P

I agree...especially after reading how she decorated for Bella and Edward's weddings, Alice seems very very detail oriented, but not necessarily over the top

I think everything for her wedding to Jasper would have been perfect and represented them beautifully, where as Rosalie and Emmett's weddings were probably something like a royal/celebrity over-the-top wedding

Who likes Jasper and Alice's relationship better than Edward and Bella's? Why?

I do. I was just noticing that on the Edward and Bella board, a lot of people are commenting on the problems in their relationship and wondered how many people like Alice and Jasper better. Jasper is protective of Alice without being overbearing. Jasper is protective in a sweet way. Edward could be overprotective, overbearing and controlling. Granted, Bella was weaker as a human, but I still found Edward's behavior to be a turnoff. Both Jasper and Edward are very chivalrous gentlemen, which makes sense since they both came from a different time. Alice pretty much does whatever she wants and Jasper never questions it-it's kind of funny. She decided they were leaving in BD, and Jasper followed. Edward seems to like being the one to make final decisions, whereas Alice does and gets whatever she wants and Jasper doesn't care. Alice is, in my opinion, more selfless than Bella. When she lied to Jasper before going to Italy in Eclipse because she knew she might die but couldn't stand it if Jasper got hurt, I thought so much of her. Bella continuously let Edward and the other Cullens fight for her. I know she was a human and couldn't really fight, but after a few times of people coming after you, you'd think she'd either insist on becoming a vamp immediately or let the bad guys get her.

I like Alice and Jasper so much more than Edward and Bella a lot of the time...it usually doesn't have anything to do with Edward though--I am much more bothered by Bella's behavior and how oblivious she is to things that are insanely obvious around her

alice and jasper's relationship is a perfect relationship that CAN NEVER exist in our world.
jasper, letting alice do whatever she wants.. and be supportive.. and alice, making sure thather man is safe..

though there's no doubt of edward loving bella much.. he tends to be overprotective.. both edward and jasper had their relationship for the first time, no excuse for being a "virgin".. but you can see jasper just behind alice all the time.. letting her choose and always ready to protect he whatever it takes.. same as alice.. (make sense??)

I totally agree with pretty much everything that has been said. I really like Edward and can totally understand some of the things he does to protect Bella but Jasper is just so much more...trusting I guess. And then Alice tries to protect herself and doesn't rely on Jasper to save her all the time. Bella, it seems, doesn't even take precautions to protect herself so that Edward doesn't have to save her.

Alice seems to get whatever she wants, but, you know that if she wanted something but it would negatively affect Jasper she would sacrifice that because Jasper's well being is much more important. Like in New Moon when Jasper attacked Bella not long after Bella said something like "Alice is gone. Of course because she would go with Jasper." Jasper did the same for Alice in Breaking Dawn. To me, Bella doesn't really think like that. She seems kinda selfish to me in that she will do whatever she can to make sure she has Edward whether it is good for him or not.

Another thing is the way Alice and Jasper are so in tune to each other. Like in my sig, they know each others every mood. Like they can read each others minds. And when they come back from Italy and they just stare at each other. It is like...indescribable. Their relationship is perfect. Now, Edward and Bella's isn't. I don't know if it is possible for theirs to be but even when she becomes a vampire they still have their issues.

I guess what I am trying to say is I like Jasper and Alice's relationship much more!

Here are some quotes by Stephenie Meyer that sum it all up.

"Secondly, he's really mostly doing this for Alice. Alice is Jasper's entire life. She is the most important thing in the universe to him, and he would do absolutely anything for her. For Jasper, there would be no limit to who or what he would destroy for Alice. Not that she wants him destroying anything. She's the light side of their relationship–she makes him laugh (and he wasn't much of a laugher before Alice). Jasper is the most "vampire-y" of the Cullens, and, while he's fond of them all, he's not bonded to them the way the rest of them are. The way Alice most definitely is. The whole high school thing really freaks him out. He's trying to get better at being around humans, but it's an uphill struggle."

"And then Alice and Jasper's is the most…mystical. They just ARE together, and have been from before they even met. They are not complete without each other–and never were. That's what makes them different from the other couples, the "never were." They were already not-whole before they met, waiting for each other."

Wow that just made me a little teary-eyed...that really does make so much sense to me and it helps explain why they are so amazing together :)

Mrs. Jasper Hale-

Great quotes! I'd never heard those before
