Well, I'm sorry to have offended you then. I don't see what was so wrong about a little crack. I love babies. The thought just made me giggle. But different people have different tastes. *shrugs*

*wince*

Bad mental image with the "taste" comment there.

Now you have me wondering...
Would a baby taste different?
Would people from different areas taste different?
Would different genders taste different?
Would...
Ugh.

D: I'm going to walk away from this. It's way too easy. (Didn't notice the pun there... That was totally heckle worthy.)

BACK TO EYES! That would be awesome if they came out with Twilight contacts. :) I'm sure there are already red ones out there that are marketed annually for Halloween, but it would be cool to find some golden ones. Not the ones that the cast had to use, of course. Those sounded uncomfortable. Lol.

I already have golden eyes.

No, seriously.
I'm trying to find my camera so I can take a picture.
They're pretty much this color.

SERIOUSLY!!

D: Then it'd be dangerous to stare into them because holy CROW, that's bright. But I'm envious. I love yellow. And gold is just like...another form of yellow, so it's pretty rad, too. *Puts on sunglasses* 8-) Much better. You are a very lucky person.

Well, they're a bit darker than that.
It was the closest I could get it in six letters/numbers.
WE're monopolizing the thread now....

As long as they aren't black or red, they're pretty much going to be awesome.

And at any given time, a mod is going to come in here and roundhouse kick us in the face for not staying on topic. :? Or being too IM-y. Or...obnoxious or something. I don't know. That one encounter over at the Taylor thread scarred me for life, even though December was very pleasant about it.

I'm seriously horrible. I'm trying to remember if this was ever addressed through either the books or through Q&A, but does is it ever mention WHY vampires' eyes turn colors? I mean, I know animal blood makes them 'ocher' and human blood makes them red. The hungrier they are, the darker... All that, I get, but I never understood why they changed colors in the first place. Why can't a vampire have blue eyes? What about the transformation changes their EYES? Ugh. This was probably mentioned somewhere, too. I'm horrible at small details like that.

Hmmm...

Maybe the venom is black, or appears black, and in the muscles of the iris when thirsty, it makes the iris darker. And when... sated... the blood takes the place of the venom in some places. There are remarks of vampires looking more human after hunting, of having a "flush".

And maybe animal blood colors it differently because it's digested differently. Like fresh meat versus jerky.

Do you think vampires eye colors temporarily change when they get very angry, some people say yes, and others say that its only when they feed.

P.S: You're welcome for getting you back on topic.

Humph.
Stop stalking me.

It was mentioned in the book a few times- Bella noticing Edward's eyes getting darker when she annoyed him or made him angry.
