If i were a vampire
I would like my power to be:
The ability to see the future and
know the reasons and the choices behind how
the person will get to that certain future.
I would also like the ability to change the mind of the

How does Bella sheild against Kate's power? Bella has a mental block only and Kate's current is physical.

Also, Edward explains that Jane can only attack one person at a time while Alec can attack a lot of people at once, but when Bella is shielding everyone she feels Jane try to attack her and then a dozen attacks at once. So, was Edward wrong?

Your first question was answered in the Q&A thread.

As for your second- Jane sent a series of attacks, one after the other. She needs to maintain concentration to keep her target incapacitated, so that series was just her testing to see if someone's mind was not shielded.

i mean, full grown vampires are afraid of her. i especially like
her power since apparently, it didnt come from her former life.

To be honest, I think reading minds would be so cruel!!!

When reading or having the talent to read minds (without selective hearing) with so troublesome, because not only will you hear the thoughts of one, but you will also hear the worries they have and possibly feel. Aro once stated that if he had not felt the same way to Bella, as Edward did, when he read Edwards mind, Aro would have killed and eaten Bella already.

Since Aro and Edward have similar talents, would the way they operate be the same? If Aro can feel the things of one, but reading their whole life story, where as Edward hears their present life story, wouldn't Edward be able to feel their emotional, mental and possibly spiritual stress (seeing as they're all psychological issues)?

Id love to see the future, i think thasts the main one ('part from the mind-reading) that everyone wants, Kate's cool too, with her shocking ability, and i quite like Jane's.

I think being able to hear what everyone around you was thinking would drive you insane!
If i was a vampire i would like the ability to find lost objects (keys etc)
because i'm always losing things!

Seeing as some of my friends comment on me being able to get secrets out of them and lifestories out of complete strangers whithout any problem. I never even noticed that until a friend of mine asked how I do that after I had a girl tell me her entire story and i was like... what are you talking about?
