Do you see them working in the books? Please reply, I get lonely! Lol!
I love both songs! And I think they both fit perfectly! I only started liking Kings Of Leon because Rob's iTunes playlist included it, so....haha fan girl much?

"Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon - The song is in a major key and I know this is maybe going to sound weird, but it's a little too "alive" for that particular scene. If you take just the lyrics alone, then sure. But that scene in particular needs something as dark as a black-on-black t-shirt. But the song would very definitely fit as a Jacob/Bella song in New Moon. In particular, page 346.

In fact, darn it, I like it so much that I'll take out the song I had for that scene (since I don't think it fit all that well) and substitute this instead. Thanks for the suggestion!!

As far as the song "Issues" by The Saturdays, I have two problems:
1) It's not on playlist.com and
2) While I like the lyrics, and I agree that the lyrics fit the J/B relationship, the song is just too "pop-y" for my taste. But then again that's my personal taste.
If I were to use this song, it would most definitely fit more in Eclipse than in New Moon.

Heehee. I saw Kings of Leon when they opened for U2 back on their Vertigo tour, so I had already heard them before. But his playlist did make me appreciate Tom Waits where I hadn't really listened before.

Yeah. I mean, Rob has a very good taste in music. I didn't know any of those singers or bands until I heard his playlist. And if you listen, Rob's music seems kind of inspired in those songs. He sings similar as some of those singers.

Um, any help with getting this Rob's playlist? I mean, not that I really want it because it's Rob's (yeah, right) but I like the Kings of Leon too, and I would like to see what else is on there.

TIA!!

And sorry to momentarily hijack the thread. Carry on with your playlist discussion.

Pardon the interruption while I answer Jettabugfox's question:

1) Go to the iTunes store:
2) Search for Twilight
3) Click on "related" Twilight - with no category listed - it's on the right side of the page.
4) Scroll down and click on "Cast of Twilight [explicit]".
5) This will take you to the page that has the iTunes playlists of Rob, Nikki, Ashley, Jackson, Kellan, Edi, Rachelle, and Taylor.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... :D

Not trying to be an idiot, but has anybody done anything with the New Moon playlist?

Not trying to be a forumwhore, but no action on this for two days kills me... ;)

If I don't hear back, I'll assume I've lost everyone's interest and go crawl into my little hole... :(

Just kidding. :D 8-)

I swear I'm not on the Lex only to promote this one thread... contrary to appearances...

So, I don't have my copy of New Moon with me right now, and I don't really know your taste too well, but I think "Breathe" by Taylor Swift goes really well for the part where Bella's leaving from the confrontation with Jacob, the first time she saw him after he went to Sam...I especially like the "never a clean break, no one here to save me," part.

So, I thought it was really appropriate, but I don't know about your taste, or as far as music most of the characters might listen to, but it's not as poppy as most of Taylor Swift's songs are.

Yeah, I agree.
Funny, I'm listening to her CD right now. I just finished listening "Breathe" actually. I'm listening to "You're Not Sorry" hehehe
