Yeah, except the vamps don't like "dead blood," so their assistance with the funeral would probably be their second time seeing the deceased.

It seemed to me like they were running some kind of touring business. That's how they keep feeding on outsiders--they bring them there for tours, hence the cameras and such. And I think that Heidi was the tour guide.
