Renaming the Characters

Wll, here's what I think alternative names could be:

Bella- Emma
Edward- Darren
Alice- Lizzy
Emmett- Josh
Esme- Harriet (means "House ruler")
Carlisle- Christian or Harold (means "leader")
Jasper- William or Sloan (means "Fighter)
Rosalie- Regina (means "Queen")
Renesmee- I cannot find anything for her!

It ll be wierd to change any of the names in the books. I cant think of them as anything else but Bella or Edward or Rosalie ect. And especially Jasper. I think Jasper is a great name for him I don't think of him as Ronald. only Jasper because thats just who I know him as.

Jacob- Tyrone, because I don't love the name, but I think it suits, because the word 'tyran' is in it and if he's mad, he changes in a wolf. So it suits, and I don't like Jacob either, so, Tyrone is nice!

I also like Shaylin, Yasmine, Rose, Layla/Laila and Luna. And for boys I also love Roman, Jay/Jason and Kyle.

I would agree with some of these, good thought processes, but some of the names I just don't like.

Emmett- Nate
Bella- Layla
Edward- Julian
Alice- Haleigh
Jasper- I would keep this one. I think it suits his character very well.
Esme- Charlotte
Carlisle- Anthony
Renesmee- Esther or Lily
Jacob- Also, this name is perfect.
I happened to love the name Jacob before I had ever heard of the Twilight saga, so that only helped my adoration for his character. I also like the names Ethan, Dean, Elizabeth, Natilee and Jay.

I don't know! I think I would keep Edward Jasper Rosalie and Renesmee though. Idk I LOVE unusual names or weird spellings of normal names some examples of my weird names that I like are.....
