I didn't have too many problems with most of the names because I'd actually heard some, like Carlisle and Siobahn, before and I was a good guesser. I did mess up Aro--pronouncing it Arrow and Quileute--pronouncing it Kwee-loot. I'm glad that that was cleared up. I think that Nahuel is pronounced Na-oo-el--at least in Spanish--the h is silent. I've really enjoyed reading the postings--some of which really made me laugh--Resume--LOL.

La Tua Cantante, the only thing hard about this is getting down the actual diction that the T's aren't hard T's. They're soft. It's hard to explain. If you're a musician you might understand.

One that I'm kind of curious on is Renata. Is it supposed to just be like "Reh-nahh-ta" or is there something I'm missing there?

And I always say Leah as Lee-uh, and now that I've heard the lovely Lexicon ladies say Lay-uh, I'm curious how it's supposed to be.

I was curious on Renata too. I always imagined it to be "Rhe-na-ta" but my friend says "Ren-et-ter" Which is right/closest?

I've always pronounced Leah "Lee-uh" I've never met anybody called Leah when you pronouce it as "Lay-uh." Just that paticular persons decision to have their name said like, that prehaps? I would imagine SM would want it pronounced "Lee-uh"

I read through the first 7 pages and gave up, so forgive me if this has already been asked....

How do you pronounce Volterra? It never occured to me that I could be saying it wrong until my friend asked me how to say it, and she seemed pretty confused. Now I'm doubting myself!

Thanks so much! :D

That's similar to how I was saying it, but more like "terra" and not "teera"

Yours sounds more italian though, so I'm sure you're right

Isn't that how you pronounce an arrow anyway, with the sound like in father? (Or is this just my British accent?)
I never thought of it like that, I always pronounced it Aro -like arrow- I'll have to correct myself. lol. ;)
