And I always say Leah as Lee-uh, and now that I've heard the lovely Lexicon ladies say Lay-uh, I'm curious how it's supposed to be.
I was curious on Renata too. I always imagined it to be "Rhe-na-ta" but my friend says "Ren-et-ter" Which is right/closest?
I've always pronounced Leah "Lee-uh" I've never met anybody called Leah when you pronouce it as "Lay-uh." Just that paticular persons decision to have their name said like, that prehaps? I would imagine SM would want it pronounced "Lee-uh"
Yeah, it pronounces Reh-na-tah. It's a Latin name, so it's pronounces how you read it.

Arghhh...
By the way , I say Nahuel.

I say Es-may, but I've seen somewhere else it's like a cross between me and may, which is confusing...
How do you pronounce Volturi? I've always assumed it's Vol-choo-ree, but I've heard some people say Voltaree, with a 't' instead of a 'ch,' and it all sort of mashed together.

When they say it's a cross they kinda mean it makes an 'eh' sound,
i.e: "Canadian, eh"?
If they had written "Es-meh" in the pronunciation key, it could be misinterpreted as the sound of indifference,
i.e: Do you want to go to the mall?
"Meh, I don't have any plans"
As for Volturi, I pronounced it with a longish 'o', a 'chur' like 'churning butter', 'ee' at the end, and emphasis on the 'chur' sound.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm not that bad with Italian pronounciation cos I took it for a year at intermediate
