So I had done a bit of Google research, and Nahuel is pronounce naw-WEL. No idea for Huilen, though. Tried to research that name, and I just got a list of websites where people were asking about her name, but nobody knew xP

idk if it's the right way or not, but I always think Huilen is pronounced wh-ay-len...with the first H sounding like how stewie froom family guy says whip, as in cool whip (that scene is greatness!) but i'm really weird...everyone on this board thought siobhan was See-o-ban, but I thought it was Sci-o-ban.....so idk

Well going with what you found for Nahuel, it stands to reason that Huilen could be pronounced wee-LEN.

I kept pronouncing it See-oh-bon. Talk about embarrassing. It's such a misleading name!

i never really had a problem with much of the pronounciation.
i was confused about quileute, until it said on SMeyers website how to say it.
but how do you pronounce sam's last name?
is it you-ley, oo-lay, oo-ley, you-lay (i have an english accent so some of you may not get what i mean)

aww....but my poor friend jessica...
she first read twilight long before the films came out and for three books called carlisle CARR-LIS-EL. like whistle.
its so funny to hear her say it. how the hell did she ever take him serious?

Wow this Pronounciation key/guide is truly needed, at least for me. Born/raised in Vietnam, I had problems with even the simpler American names, ie:James-(Jims anyone? lol). The additional complexness brought forth by names I never heard before such as,

Sibohan-Si(mumble-mumble), Carlisle-Carguy, Rosalie-Rose, Alistair-Allstairs(lol), Huilen- Húi lien, Nahuel-Nã uell, Zafrina-Zafree nêh, Kachiri-Kasi re, Amun-Amún, Demetri-Demitrêe, Caius-Cãiuss, Aro-Hào to name a few.

Kept me and my boyfriend giggling throughout the day to say the least!
-Have fun with my pronounciation now if you wish!

Does anyone know how you're supposed to pronounce Isle Esme?

Is it like aisle or eela? Cos I did pronounce it like aisle till I heard Jack Sparrow say Isle de Muerta, which is pronounced like eela, now I'm confused... help?

Here are my guesses, based on no facts at all. Isle de Muerta is a spanish name and thus pronounced eela instead of aisle. Isle Esme, being named by Carlisle and Esme I would pronounce aisle.

An argument against this might be that the island is off of Brazil which may give it a Portuguese pronunciation. I don't know if that would be eela or something else.
