Could some of Bella's bruises have been caused by Jacob at the wedding and not all from Edward?
The incident with Jacob is discribed as him grabing her arms and gripping her to the bone and shaking her. That kind of thing leaves a mark. It was 24 hours after the wedding, just enough time for the bruises to rise to the surface. Is Edward taking the blame for something that wasn't ALL his fault?

It's possible, but I doubt it. Edward would've noticed, wouldn't he? And then torn Jacob's head off.

XD that last part made me laugh...it's definately possible- but then again i don't think Jacob was really the cause of her bruises.
Cause I've been waiting for a miracle, and i'm not leaving...

When I read that part I thought they were from Jacob. But then I thought about it. I was like nah if Edward went a little crazy and bit the pillows then I was pretty sure he did the whole bruises thing also.

I doubt Jacob did at least one those bruises.
Remember Bella took a shower before joining Edward in the sea. She'd have noticed them.
And Edward would have gone back and torn Jacob limb from limb.

I agree she would have noticed and as I have recieved bruises myself during those situations I'm sure they were all from his vamp strength.
I'm with Bella on the fact that it was kinda to be expected and the feathers were a more interesting outcome.

After Bella is transformed we get our first real look into the world through the eyes of a Vampire.
If Jacob has bruised Bella it would have taken Edward less than a fraction of a second to record that information when he saw her naked... no mater how excited he was.
He also matches his hand up to one of the bruises on her arm the next morning.
