I like some of her playlist songs.

She's taught me that it's easier to write with music in the background. XD

Hey there.

Im Troy.

About the official SM Playlists. I love them but i am having trouble working out where they are supposed to go with the chapters.
Does anyone know exactly which songs SM meant to go with ech chapter as I would really like to take the whole journey from her perspective.

Perhaps SM could add which chapters go where to her playlists on her website?

Please please that would be great.

A lot of Flyleaf songs remind me of Twilight, especially "I'm So Sick". I can see that being from Edward's point of view since he sees himself as such a monster.

"Slowly Killing Me" by Gravity Burn reminds me of Bella and Edward:
Slowly killing me
Like a disease
You get inside me
Bring me to my knees

You are perfect
For suicide
You get in my head
Leave when I've died

You look like an angel
Roaming this world
You draw me back
And run me through

You look like an angel
I suffered so long
You seemed so pure to me
I see all of you

Why was I blind
I should have known
You'd leave me behind
To face this alone

You're the dark side
You put me down
Please don't make me wait
Just take me now

You look like an angel
Roaming this world
You draw me back
And run me through

You look like an angel
I suffered so long
You seemed so pure to me
I see all of you

Wish I could
Turn back the time
So I couldn't see
What I've become
Slowly killing me yeah
Slowly killing me yeah
No, no

You look like an angel
Roaming this world
You draw me back
And run me through

You look like an angel
I suffered so long
You seem so pure to me
I see all of you

"Decorating For Cinco de Mayo" by Kenotia makes me think of Bella after Edward left:
[Chorus]
I can't find a way out
and the clocks are broken, leaking time.
One more second, I may die
'Cuz my wounds are open bleeding life.

[Verse 1]
You're a problem, I'll never solve.
How do I say it and let it go?
You never told me just what you wanted,
I'm only guessing you're wanting me.
I never said this is what I wanted,
A love that's shaking and all onesided.
So tell me why you have kept me here,
Empty and lifeless, afraid to leave this.
Should I stay and pretend to smile?
There's nothing for me, I need to go.

[Chorus]
I can't find a way out
and the clocks are broken, leaking time.
One more second, I may die
'Cuz my wounds are open bleeding life.

Where do you go when your eyes are closed?
Why do you waste it all for show?
Am I there when your eyes are closed?
Am I wasting this all for show? Am I wrong? Is this wrong?
Is it a lie? You always lie.
Look at you, already gone..
But expecting me here waiting for you when
you're feeling lonely.

[Chorus]
I can't find a way out
and the clocks are broken, leaking time.
One more second, I may die
'Cuz my wounds are open bleeding life.

And I will never know
why I let myself be broken.
But when this rip becomes a tear,
I'll have lost the will for hoping. If i stay I risk losing a part of me that i once loved.
And you're not worth that loss,
I'll chalk it up to broken hearts.
If I'm strong and I dig myself out,
I'll live.

[Chorus]
I can't find a way out
and the clocks are broken, leaking time.
One more second, I may die
'Cuz my wounds are open bleeding life.
I'm not ready to give my life

Hi Troy!

Stephenie has never specified (that I know of) where any particular song "belongs" in the series with one exception: "My Never" by Blue October from the Breaking Dawn playlist she specified belongs on page 355 of Breaking Dawn per an interview she did in LA on the Breaking Dawn Tour.

She stated that the New Moon Playlist is sequential, but there is no similar notation on any of the others...

To quote the movie "Shakespeare In Love": "It's a mystery!"

I have MY theories...

This has definitely happened to me before, and I happen to love Coldplay's Fix You.I didn't have any money on iTunes when I first discovered the playlists, but quickly compiled my own from my preexisting music collection. It surprised me how many songs I already had! Stephenie Meyer has an amazing taste in music and I always love to listen to the playlist when I am reading the Twilight saga. I also happen to love The Host's playlist... Absolutely fabulous.
I look forward to investigating some of the proposed playlists on other parts of this site!
If you're not really here, I don't want to be either. I want to be next to you.
