No I don't know, but I would like to. 'cause I got some songs. Large words are lines that especially fit the books

This Is For Keeps by the Spill Canvas
The streets are dark, my pulse is flat-lined
as I'm running to you
You sit completely unaware of what I'm about to do
The air is thick with tension much like when we are together
My fangs are aching as I'm pondering about you and I forever

as I round your corner
I am nervous that you won't be my lover
I knock three times and hope that my pale complexion won't blow my cover
You answer the door with your innocent face
Would you like to leave this human race, tonight?

Eternity will never be enough for me
and eternally we'll live our infallible love

My brain is pumping an unusual secretion of lust
Your eyes are softer now
and your chin, it drips a bloody color of rust
I am raising up the stakes of this round, I am playing for keeps
Oh, would you like to leave this human race, tonight?

Eternity will never be enough for me
and eternally we'll live our infallible love

Follow me into the sea
We'll drown together and immortalize you and me
Leave behind this lonely town

We're both better than this, it's not worth being down

Eternity will never be enough for me
and eternally we'll live our infallible love

Follow me into the sea
We'll drown together and immortalize you and me
Leave behind this lonely town (eternally)
We're both better than this, it's not worth being down (eternally)

Perfect, I know. Also this song for Jacob (before Renesmee)

Miserable At Best by Mayday Parade
Katie, don't cry, I know
You're trying your hardest
And the hardest part is letting go
Of the nights we shared
Ocala is calling and you know it's haunting
But compared to your eyes, nothing shines quite as bright
And when we look to the sky, its not mine, but i want it so

Let's not pretend like you're alone tonight
(I know he's there)
You're probably hanging out and making eyes

these 3 lines fit Edward better
(while across the room, he stares)
I bet he gets the nerve to walk the floor
And ask my girl to dance, and she'll say yes

Because these words were never easier for me to say
Or her to second guess
But I guess
That I can live without you but
Without you I'll be miserable at best

You're all that I hoped I'd find
In every single way
And everything I could give
Is everything you couldn't take

Cause nothing feels like home, you're a thousand miles away
And the hardest part of living
Is just taking breaths to stay

Because I know I'm good for something
I just haven't found it yet
But I need it

So let's not pretend like you're alone tonight
(I know he's there)
You're probably hanging out and making eyes
(while across the room, he stares)
I bet he gets the nerve to walk the floor
And ask my girl to dance, and she'll say yes

Because these words were never easier for me to say
Or her to second guess
But I guess
That I can live without you but
Without you I'll be miserable at best

Ladada ladada ladadaoh ohhh

And this will be the first time in a week
That I'll talk to you
And I can't speak
It's been three whole days since I've had sleep
Because I dream of his lips on your cheek
And I got the point that I should leave you alone
But we both know that I'm not that strong

And I miss the lips that made me fly

So let's not pretend like you're alone tonight
(I know he's there)
You're probably hanging out and making eyes
(while across the room, he stares)
I bet he gets the nerve to walk the floor
And ask my girl to dance, and she'll say yes

Because these words were never easier for me to say
Or her to second guess
But I guess
That I can live without you but
Without you I'll be miserable
And I can live without you
But without you I'll be miserable
And I can live without you
Oh, without you I'll be miserable at best

And the most revelent bits of: First Time by Lifehouse
Looking at you,holding my breath,
For once in my life,I'm scared to death,
I'm taking a chance,letting you inside.

I'm feeling alive all over again,

Well maybe I'm wrong,
But I'm feeling right where I belong
With you tonight

The world that I see inside you
Waiting to come to life
Waking me up to dreaming
Reality in your eyes

We're crashing
Into the unknown
We're lost in this
But it feels like home

This may have been said, but for the part in breaking Dawn when Edward throws Jacob the keys and Jake leaves:
O.A.R's Shattered

In a way, I need a change
From this burnout scene
Another time, another town
Another everything
But it's always back to you

Stumble out, in the night
From the pouring rain
Made the block, sat and thought
There's more I need
It's always back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

I had no idea that the night
Would take so damn long
Took it out, on the street
While the rain still falls
Push me back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

Give it up, give it up, baby
Give it up, give it up, now
Now

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
All that I feel is the realness I'm faking
Taking my time but it's time that I'm wasting
Always turn the car around

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around

Don't wanna turn that car around
I gotta turn this thing around

I love Stephanie's playlists. Some songs I knew, some I didn't. So I've listened to everything I can on iTunes (well a sample from iTunes). There's only a couple that weren't there that I couldn't listen to, and just a couple more that I'm not sure about. But for the most part, I love her taste in music. I can think of a few great U2 songs that would also fit, but that's because I"m a U2 fan of course. I didn't know anything about Muse before, but I'm really liking them now. They just have the right sound for the Twilight world.

I love that even though Stephanie's not a teenager and she's a mum, that she has kept her own personal taste in music. Just because we get a bit older, doesn't mean we don't like rock or alternative music (I can say that because I'm older - older than Stephanie!!).

I think it's great that Stephanie puts her playlists out there for her fans to check out and listen to. It adds a lot to the whole Twilight experience when you can hear some of the music she was listening to when she created these fantastic books. :)

After I read Eclipse I listened to the playlist. Does anyone else think that Stab My Back by the All-American Rejects is the absolute perfect song for this book, specifically the chapter when Jacob and Bella kiss? I'm imagining it from Edward's point-of-view and I can picture it so clearly. I can even see him writing or singing this song. Sounds like something he would listen to also. But it just describes that scene, or rather, Edward's feelings bout it, perfectly. I think so, anyway.

Yes, you're right- it's perfect. I know exactly what you mean. I love listening to the play lists on my iPod right after I read the books, cos it's like I get to live the story all over again.

I think that alot of the songs that she has picked are really good! I've gotten alot of new songs on my iPod just by listening to various Twilight playlists on the internet. Many from her website. I love to find songs that relate to the books! :D

"No Cars Go" in my opinon works for the end of the book. The song reminds me of a beginning and an end. Bella's left her human life behind and now all the danger's gone, so she's entering her beginning of forever.

p.s just to be a little off topic. I want "No Cars Go" played at my graduation at some point in time that day.
