Stephenie Meyer's Official Playlists

There are about three songs I listen to from her playlists: Wouldn't it be nice, by the Beach Boys, Lullabye (and this one was written about the Twilight Saga as far as I'm concerned, the references just fit SOOOOOOO well!) by Billy Joel and Tremble for my Beloved by Collective Soul, which I only listen to because it's on the Twilight Soundtrack, I don't even really like it that much. I like the Twilight Hour album better, because of the Twilight themed songs.

i really like all of Stephenie's playlists. but i have to say i liked the NM playlist and the Twilight playlist the best. the NM playlist was amazingly perfect! i can relate the songs to the book soooooooo well. it just really makes sense.

I'm really glad she posted the playlists on her website, it really gives you a better description of how the characters where feeling.

I really like all of Stephenie´s playlists but my favorite are the NM playlist and the BD playlist. They fit perfectly. Even though I nearly start crying everytime I listen to the NM playlist because it´s so sad...

unfortunately I haven't had a chance to listen to the playlists. (I have a really stupid/slow computer right now & it's a pain to do anything on it.) but I just wanted to give my fellow twilighters a heads up on a cool website my friend told me about. it's http://www.grooveshark.com and it's a site that you can go to & just listen to music. you don't have to download or anything and it's free! so you can listen to the playlist songs for free! (it's what I plan on doing once I get a new computer )

I thought that the songs really went well with the books. I have a lot of them on my ipod. There are some songs that are more random. But hey, Stepheneie Meyer was listening to those songs when she was writing the books. I think the songs match the mood of the books very well.

i love the hamburg song from the eclipse playlist. i don't know if it's supposed to be about edward and bella but it reminds me of jake and bella when it says:
"Will you see me in the end
Or is it just a waste of time
Trying to be your friend"
and when it says:
"Fool, I wonder if you know yourself at all
You know that it could be so simple"
it reminds me of the ethics chapter when he's telling her that it would be so easy for them, like breathing.

and i love someone to die for from the breaking dawn playlist. it's so perfect for when jacob imprints <3

I love love love love! the playlists. I found the NM playlist 1st and just wanted to cry, some of those songs are so sad, but it totally goes with the book. I wanted to cry when reading too. I just wish she would tell us which songs fit where and with who like she did for the NM playlist!!

i definitely think this song fits perfect for Edward and Bella An ex of mine actually sang this to me, and it was our song for a while, it was reallyyyy sweet of him but like i said he's now an ex lol

Just because we get a bit older, doesn't mean we don't like rock or alternative music (I can say that because I'm older - older than Stephanie!!).

I totally agree... I'm probably considered far too old for this board (48!) but my music tastes are very similar to Stephenie's

I'm 40 - yep, that was a tough year when that birthday rolled around!!
I'm glad I'm not the only non-teenager on the board. And I swear, I am just as obsessed as any tweenager when it comes to the world of Twilight. It's quite amazing that these books appeal to such a wide age range.
And I like Stephanie's playlists too. I may be 'older', but I'm not dead!!
