I read this somewhere, don't remember where. But someone said to play Coldplay's Fix You when Jacob and Edward are trying to keep Bella alive. I listened to the song and almost broke down :( Sorry, don't know the page number(s), but you all know where it is
Especially with this line:
All the king's horses and all the king's men...
But there was nothing there, just me, just him.
Working over a corpse.
Because that's all that was left of the girl we both loved. This broken, bled-out, mangled corpse. We couldn't put Bella together again.

Quote copied from online, so forgive me if it's not exact. But OMG it tears you apart!

I posted this in another Twilight Music thread, but I thought I'd post here too, because it seems appropraite! :)

I think that "Understanding" by Evanescence is a really great song for Breaking Dawn (the first 2 books, at least!) I LOVE it (My name on here is actually a line from the song!).

Here is a link to the lyrics.

"Understanding" by Evanescence *NOTE: The parts in quotes are actually audio clips from movies that are in the song. The rest is the actual singing.

When you read the words, you just have to kind of think of each section as a different character's POV. This is how I see it: the movie quotes at the beginning and end relate to Jacob (the last one would be Bella talking to Jacob), the first verse sounds like Bella's POV, the second is Edward's POV, and the choruses could be Edward or Bella or even Jacob, depending on how you want to see it. It's such an emotional song and I adore it!!

 Sorry that was so long! Hopefully I'm not totally insane and someone else will see what I see Hahaha.

That is the only Breaking Dawn song not on Stephenie's plalist I can think of at the moment :)

Hey guys!
I just heard a song that caught my heart, it's a song of -and don't laugh- backstreet boys callen Lose it All.
I'm sorry but is SO MUCH Breaking Down material  I love it!

Imaginning in someone elses voice and maybe changing the music, I don't know  I love it the way it is. Sounds like words taken out of Edward's mouth.

  • Take what you need
Cuz I can't hold my breath
    Say what you feel
    Cuz I've got nothing left

I made a promise to myself last night
I'm gonna keep it if it's wrong or right

And if I lose it all
There'd be nothing left to lose
And I would take the fall
Cause knowing you are out there
    Breathing is so wonderful

    It's a chance, I'd take even if I break
    And I lose it all
    If I lose it all
    Would it matter anyway

    Don't change a thing
    You're perfect as you are
    Time has a way
    Time is all I've got

If my heart should shatter watching you
There'd be one less thing I'd have to prove
    (OMG :D )

    Heaven will be waiting
When I fall into your open arms
I believe you'll find me there
    You'll find me there

And if I lose it all
There'd be nothing left to lose
And I would take the fall
Cause knowing you are out there
    Breathing is so wonderful
    It's a chance, I'd take even if I break
    And I lose it all
    If I lose it all

BTW, I posted it in My Twilight Soundtrack and now I don't know how to erase it, some help?

yes totally!! altho i was thinking this kind of fits with Eclipse as well.
within Stephenies playlist i LOVE her selection of Jacks Mannequin- Dark Blue, i just imagine the wedding when Bellas walking down the aisle and shes so happy+she sees that Edward is to also their first dance "have you ever been alone in a crowded room when im here with you" and just the overall tone of the song is kind of upbeat and elated
