the werewolf gene had no influence on him until bella's pregnancy, when nessie actually, you know, existed.
however, the fact that he loved bella so much, that in a normal world he would be with bella, and the fact that nessie is so like bella are NOT coincidences, i don't think.

you know i was thinking. could it be possible, that maybe another reason was in play for why it was so hard for both jacob and bella to say goodbye to each other, why they kept coming back to each other after saying goodbye over and over again? other than their love for each other which is the current reason. Could nessie have been another reason?
Because, if Bella and Jacob were strong enough to say goodbye to each other. Jacob would have never gotten to meet nessie.

umm if you are talking about during bella's pregnancy then you're absolutely making sense and i think you're probably right. to a degree at least, that was what kept jacob coming back.

er..i have no idea what i was talking about actaully. for the most part though, apparently i was refering to him during the pregnancy. hmm..it's interesting. Did he ever mention why he kept coming back to bella? i should reread his book soon.

he said it was at least partly because of nessie.

no no, before he imprinted. wasn't he wondering why he kept hanging around? did he wonder? is what i was asking. i don't remember...

no, he didn't wonder why before he imprinted, but he figured it out afterwards.
