I'm pretty neutral on Jasper. Jasper became depressed after less than a hundred years of feeding on humans (which is a good thing, don't get me wrong...). Garrett has happily been on the prowl for over 200 years.

i think that is cool that he is prepared to do that for Kate, cos thats basically why he does it!

dont worry. we all think that. in our heads any of the characters can be ours! i have seth and edward and garett and...... but in the real world i have to keep quiet about this because i get weird looks otherwise

The conversation between him and Kate before they got ready for the fight was absolutely romantic. I loved it. It was just like in one of those cheesy romance stories. Haaah.

^ Lol, same here! I kept imagining Garrett dressed up in some sort of Steve Irwin outfit. Don't ask. I love the part where he says "If we survive this, I'm following you everywhere, woman!" Or something like that. OMDE, he and Kate are my new favourite Twilight saga couple.

Garrett is awesome; definitely one of my favourite characters. Along with Aro. =)

I love, LOVE the part in his speech where he says:
"Are the Volturi here to protect the safety of our secrecy,
or to protect their own power?
Did they come to destry an illegal creation,
or a way of life?
Could they be satisfied when the danger turned out to be no more than a misunderstanding?
Or would they punish the issue without the excuse of justice?"

When I read that I was just like "Whoa."

And then of course I was enthralled further when he said he'd follow Kate anywhere. I was pretty happy about that.

It looks like Garrett is one of the few characters that everyone agrees is AWESOME.
