I have to agree. I am very interested in the Alice-James relationship. Hopefully Stephenie will add some kind of extra later on that will highlight it, much like she did when Rosalie told Edward about Bella committing suicide in New Moon.

I really liked James....i mean he was just that essential, down to the core, BAD-GUY. Perfect, he was sadistic and cruel and malicious. I know it sounds weird, but i love reading about those types of characters; it gives the story depth because you can't help but wonder "How the HECK did they get like this??"

In my opinion James simply accepted his vampire side and used it full-on. He saw himself at the top of the foodchain and took advantage. And let's face it, in this story the vampires are at the top of the chain. Anyway, as mentioned before i'd really liked to have SM go deeper into the relationship between James and Alice...i just find it interesting how she tied in their relationship like that...definitely a story-starter...

There's something very hot about a villain who fully acknowledges he's villain and embraces it. Of course, it'd be cool to see if he could actually justify his actions.

i like james. hes the bad guy, but there is so much apeal in someone that is hot and bad.
