I really like Jane. I wish her goals could have been accomplished

so you wish she inflicted extreme pain on bella and poor infant renesmee? thats a bit morbid.

Whoops. More that the shield might have been broken, or Jane had mentally crippled someone for a moment and there was an outbreak of conflict, perhaps even (if it isn't too much to ask) a fight?

And Jane doesn't have the ability to directly inflict pain on Bella. Renesmee would've run off to safety with her lover.

i thought the [cough] "fight scene" [cough] was funny in a way.

now before everyone starts throwing things at me {lol} this is just my view. maybe it's because i have a soft spot for the Volturi. i laughed with Felix and Bella, and Jane when she was mad she couldn't pierce the shield. she "let out a cry of rage" or something like that and everybody jumped. except the Ancients. i don't know why, but just imagining that made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt.

How old is Jane supposed to be?

For some reason, I like Jane alot. But i'm not quite sure why.
I guess I like the fact she's so tiny, like Alice, but she's evil.
the whole "Don't judge a book by its cover" should be taken into account with her lol

I am really excited to see her character in New Moon the movie
i wonder who would play her, hmmm

Jane is one of the best characters out of the Twilight books, Her power is Awesome!
But i think we need to know more about her.

I have a question, i see Aro has a father figure to Jane... but why in New Moon did Aro kiss Jane on the lips, or did i read it wrong?

I though he kissed her cheeks. Anyways, the Japanese illustrations have a picture of her. I have the hair cut just like her. Im just too tall to be Jane.

i think he is supposed to be a father figure....but yeah, that kinda weirded me out too. i'm pretty sure it was the lips. it said something like "Aro placed a kiss on her full lips" or something along those lines.

Yes, he kissed her on the lips, but that is due to the culture. Greeting in such a way is common and even the acceptable form of greeting, unlike in the US where handshakes fulfill that role. It has to do with cultural differences.

In fact, I'm fairly sure I posted about this recently on this thread.

I think you nailed it. I love a happily ever after. But I do enjoy the suspense. I'm reading the series a second time and Jane's not so bad (now that I know E&B do get their happy ending). I DO think that a little more show in the end of BD would've been nice though... oh well...
