I actually thought Mike was a bit annoying because he kept trying to be around Bella and date her. He was getting all the wrong signals. I just wanted to smack him!

The Mike in my head looks different if I were to compare it in the movie..but i admit, Mike is cute..in the movie..lol
I just hate it whenever he acted like he was Bella's boyfriend or something..lol

I never really liked him. And after I read Midnight Sun I don't like him even more.
About the Mike in the movie.. Well he was cute, but I never pictured him like this.

I've got to admit that I have a soft spot for Mike. He's one of those desparate guys that is desparatly endearing.

I agree with those of you that say he's annoying. I mean Bella should buy him a leash for christ sake!
It wasn't right for him to think that because he liked her first that he could claim her or try to at least.
If I had a guy-friend like that I'd tell him to back off.
But I'll admit the actor that played him in the movie was cute.

i think everyone is wayyy too hard on mike. i think that he's held up against such wonderful boys (edward, jacob) with such maturity for their age that it's hard to really make a normal boy fit.

hm, never thought of it that way. Normal ones like Mike do seem dull compared to Edward and Jake.
There are times throughout reading the first book I wanted to smack that boy silly for going after Bella. It didn't seem to clue in that she wasn't into him. No wonder she referred to him as a dog.

OMG I dislike Mike Newton... he irks me a lot. I wish he would of left off her in Twilight.... you know, kinda given up one he noticed she wasn't interested.
Ok, no more. I don't wanna offend Mike Fans any further.
