I think Edward was nervous that Bella had changed her mind and was also worried that she hadn't. I think both reacted as naturally as could be after that.

2. How do you think Edward really felt about Bella's conversation with Jessica?

I think he enjoyed it.

Oooh, I hadn't thought about that. I am very surprised now that he didn't stop her.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?

I think they care about each other equally. The feelings they have for each other aren't "natural". They are very powerful and ... other-worldly.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?

Hmm, not a clue really. That's a great question!

I think they both did alright, considering. There was a little awkwardness, but it seemed to dissapate quickly.

I think he was thrilled because she admitted she liked him, but annoyed that she didn't think he could have feelings for her in return.

OOH, I didn't know that, though it makes sense. Maybe Edward knew that that tiny amount of venom was nowhere near lethal, so it wasn't a concern.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?

I think it's equal. I think Edward felt that his many years of experience made him capable of greater, more consuming love because he'd studied human relationships so much. But he underestimated Bella's enormous heart.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?

Hmm. Carlisle would like something that was always available and never near extinction, so as to not make any possible waves, so maybe a deer? Esme is so sweet and quiet, I almost have an issue picturing her hunting. Alice is so fast and small, I think she'd want to hunt some kind of big cat or other animal that moves really quickly. Jasper likes a challenge so I think he'd go for something big like Emmett and his affinity for bears. I actually assumed that ROse like bears too because she'd found Emmett in the midst of a forest full of bears.

2. How do you think Edward really felt about Bella's conversation with Jessica? I think he was curious to hear what she felt about him, but perplexed that she didn't think he could possibly feel anything for her.

I suppose the amount of venom was so small there was no need for him to react or try and stop Bella from taking a bite.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more? I suppose neither cares for the other more, but I definitely think Edward is putting a lot more out there by caring so much for Bella.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt? I 'm not sure. I'd have to think more about that one.

I think that neither of them really knew what to do. I thought they just did what came naturally to them given the circumstance. I think Bella was just perfect Edward liked it and, Yes I think he was more open and that eventually got Bella talking as well.

Sad of course. Everything about how she wants to be with him forever makes him depressed, but he puts on a calm joking facade to not worry her because his reactions to that fact make her sad and angry.

Eh, I think Edward was kind of absorbed with Bella and I don't think there was enough venom for it to make a difference.
4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?
Equally of course. There is no other way to explain it, they are both in different situations so they both have excuses as to why they love each other more, but I think it has to be equally.
5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?

Esme- Elk
Alice- some fast cat
Jasper- something big lions and tigers and bears... oh my lol

I don't think they behaved naturally - and I think that is exactly how it should be. I think it would be totally weird if they behaved naturally.

I'm thinking that these two are not one to hide their feelings. They are pretty open with each other overall. I think he felt like he wished he could hear HER thoughts!

Maybe Edward didn't know that she would injest some of his venom. If he knew, he wouldn't let her eat it after him. HOWEVER, she mentioned a lot that she was cold later in the book. I always wondered why, maybe it was the venom she ingested. Although, this question makes me wonder what amount of venom "changes" a person and what percentage does not induce change. I never read that part that SM refers to this information. Darn. I wonder what else I missed.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?
I think they care equally for each other. It's like children. Most parents love children equally. They all should.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?
I actually don't care. Is that bad of me?

Bella was a bit shy because she didn't know what to expect, and she was still digesting the happenings of the previous night. Edward was equally as open.

I'm sure he was flattered. I really do think he was sad that Bella didn't feel that he had as strong of feelings for her as she did for him. Edward is a bit of a tough read though.

I would assume that if he didn't try to stop her from eating the pizza then he knew that trace amounts of venom wouldn't be harmful to her at all. He is obviously overconcerned with her safety, so I don't think he would do anything to intentionally jeopardize it.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?

I think that at this point Edward cares for Bella more. Edward has lived a very long 'life', and thus has more appreciation for finding his 'soul mate' of sorts. I think Bella deeply cares for Edward as well, obviously enough to risk her life by being around him.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?

I would picture Alice hunting smaller animals than Rosalie. Rosalie is much more rough around the edges and she is very fiesty, so I picture her hunting cougars, perhaps. I would picture Jasper hunting bears and mountain lions as well.

I think they both did good but i think Bella was kind of anxious and nervous at first but I think Edward was great and he was open which was good.

I think he thought it was okay but some stuff like he said he did not like but overall he was fine with the conversation they had together.

I do think it was weird that he did not say anything to her. But I am still not sure why he didn't.

4. They argue about who cares for whom more all thoughtout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more ?

I think Edward cares for Bella more because of the way he is so protective over her and her saftey. But overall I kind of still do think it is equal by this point.

5. Emmett prefers bears - Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt ?

I think Alice would prefer small animals, so maybe she would hunt rabbits or small deer. Rosalie I would think would hunt a cheetah, Jasper I would think would like deer. I can't think of any others for him.

I think Edward is used to getting attention so he didnt really care about it, but liked the thought of people putting him and Bella together in some ways, and thinking it dangerous in others. I think Bella just hates being in the lime light.

I think he loved that she felt that way for him but was still worried of the danger. And he thinks he cares for her more.

I think he was just shocked by most her reactions that he was more impressed by the trust.


4. They argue about who cares for whom more all throughout lunch. In your opinion, which one really does care for the other more?
I think Edward cares for Bella more at this point, he truly wants to do that right thing for her but he needs to be with her.

5. Emmett prefers bears, Edward prefers mountain lions. Based on their personality, what do you suppose the other Cullens prefer to hunt?
Hmm, I think Alice would like some fast paced creature. Some cat of sorts.
As Esme is gentle I think she would probably prefer Elk, aswell as Carlisle for that matter.
Im not sure about Jasper, maybe something that puts up a good fight, like a Bear aswell maybe, something thats a challenge.
And I think Rosalie would take revenge on the Bears for Emmett

I think that as far as their behavior, how they acted was perfectly normal. Like 2 shy people who just began dating and are still nervous around each other. I don't think Bella was too nervous or shy - just curious. Edward did seem more open. He trusts her...and she him.

2. How do you think Edward really felt about Bella's conversation with Jessica?
I don't know how to answer this because I have read Midnight Sun...He definitely didn't like the fact that she didn't think he cared for her as much as she cares for him, that's for sure!

Again, I don't know for sure, because I read Midnight Sun....as a newbie to the Twilight series, I had no idea about the venom so I didn't give it any thought when I first read the book.

I think they both care for each other the same. They love each other in the truest sense of the word...

That's tough because at this point (in Twilight), we really don't know enough about their personalities to say....That's a tough one...
