1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
I was really surprised! The first ime I read it- even though 4 months had passed- I thought Bella had gotten over Edward pretty quickly.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
I didn't think she was playing a game- but I felt like she was really leading Jacob on. Then again, I can understand loving two completely different people. I thought there would be more of a fight between Jacob & Edward. I would have liked to have read more about what Bella & Jacob's life would have been like had she chosen him. But I still loooove Edward... :?

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
I thought "OMG! What a jerk!"...But I would have done the same. I felt like he was trying to hurt her like she did him, maybe.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
I understood the difference & his point.

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different? I didn't know the time frame here, so I didn't know what to expect. How many days was it? Was she expecting it to take weeks for everything to go back to normal?

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book? Oh my goodess- one line says it all for me... page 552- They fight; Paris falls. You don't realize the agony I was feeling. I seriously thought it would come down to a fight between Edward and Jake over Bella, maybe not in this book. I got anxious when I got to the "Fire and Ice" chapter in Eclipse; obviously, I knew who was which one, and that title sounded ominous to me. I knew that Bella and Edward would end up together, but I didn't want Jake to die because of it. I'm SO glad it didn't happen the way I thought. Now that I've read the saga a few times, I can see how important the wolves are.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle? Man, I HATED Jake for doing that!!! Had he just answered ONE of her phone calls, this could have been avoided, but it wouldn't have made for good teenage drama, then, huh? ;)

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making Oh dear, this presented QUITE the dilemma for Bella!! I didn't know what to think about the future of the next two books! As soon as I finished NM, I went straight into Eclipse, so I could find out what was going to happen! Yes, I did understand the point Jake was trying to make; the Cullens were not only forbidden from killing a human, but also from creating another one of their kind. Bella is truly between a rock and a hard place here!!

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
I was suprised. I thought that things would be so much different.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
I dont really think its dangerous. Neither Jacob or Edward would ever dream of hurting her. I just hoped they Jacob would be able to stay friends with Bella.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
I thought Jacob was being just rude. That was suppose to be their secret. And he shouldnt have been such a brat..because thats all he was being. He was mad because Edward was back && that he knew Bella would be spending more time with him.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
It didnt matter if one of the cullens were to bite someone and change them, or to kill them. Either way its still the same.

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
I wasn't exactly surprised, I was definitely relieved though. After 400+ heartbreaking pages, it was good to see a little sunshine.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
Let's face it- she would never leave Edward to be friends with Jacob. So really, it was a matter of whether or not she could still be friends with Jacob. I really hoped she could, because he's my favorite character. I sensed that the next book would deal a lot with the conflict between Jacob and Edward, and likewise the conflict between the wolves and the vampires, which was a cool premise.
3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
I was really mad at Jacob- it was a pretty immature and mean thing to do.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
I thought Jacob suspected that the Cullens were planning to change Bella, and that a war would break out if they did. That kind of scared me. As if there weren't enough conflicts surrounding Bella's wish to become a vampire!

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
After Edward gave his whole speech to Bella about how he loved her and wouldn't ever leave her, I totally fell in love with him again and forgave him for everything he did, ever, haha. So when things fell back into the normal rythm between the two of them, I wans't as surprised. I think their love is so true that things between them come very naturally and just feel "right" for both of them. I was a little surprised at how easily things went back to normal considering the rest of the Cullen's lives, like Edward and Alice getting their exact same classes back. The hospital taking Carlisle back and no one really questioning their strange departure and return, but I also know the Cullens are very persuasive people.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
I don't think it is dangerous necessarily in the literal sense because Edward is a vampire and Jacob is a werewolf, I think it is dangerous because of the feelings involed, I think one, both, or all three of them are asking to get hurt with this whole thing. I don't fear for Bella's safety when she is around Jacob like Edward does, and sometimes he makes me wish he would lighten up in that regard, on the other hand, I know that Edward can see Jacob's thoughts about Bella and I don't blame him for hating that. I hoped that the issue could be resolved and she could have at least some sort of friendship with Jacob and remain with Edward. But on the other hand I was nervous that she would do something that would upset Edward. Sometimes I am surprised by how much Bella seems to need Jacob, even with Edward in her life. It would be easier if she hadn't developed such strong feelings for him, but nothing is ever easy!

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
Ah! I was mad at him! I thought his intentions were pretty low. I understand that Jacob is hurting and mad at Edward and Bella, but did he honestly think that the only consequence of his action would be that Bella wouldn't be able to see Edward any more? I guess he didn't realize that Charlie grounding Bella doesn't really prevent that, and he didn't seem to realize that his actions would hurt Bella as much as they did. Jacob is so raw with his emotions sometimes that he acts without thinking things through completely first.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
I had never thought of that. I always took the treaty to mean that if the Cullens killed a human, of course via biting them. I had never thought about it applying to bite Bella to turn her. It made me wonder how the treaty was originally intended. At first I doubted that it was meant the way that Jacob is saying that it is meant. I thought it was just something that he was saying to prevent something that he didn't want from happening. Later on I think I realized that the treaty was meant to be interpreted both ways. I was hoping that Bella and the Cullens would find a way to make the Quileutes understand and make an exception to the treaty for Bella's sake! This is why its time to read Eclipse!

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?

Not really. Forks is a small town, and of there's not much going on to talk about, move on. I think it worked out well.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire?

Yes, a very dangerous game.

*Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved?

I don't really know. It seemed there was too much tension between both parties and that it seemed like the Cullen's would have to skip town again taking Bella with them.

*What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?

That Jacob would see how much happier Bella had become around Edward and how she wouldn't leave his side. And that Edward would see what a good friend Jacob had become to Bella.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?

I thought that it was just cruel to do that to Bella without talking to Charlie or Bella first. He was upset that Bella had chosen Edward over him, and as Edward had pointed out, Jake seemed to think that Edward was keeping Bella from Jake.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?

The difference I see is that "bite" could cause death, or could seriously harm Bella, and "kill" would happen if Edward had Bella bitten. I don't think that there was much of a difference between the two, because the bite would kill in one form. The point I think that was being made by Jake was that he didn't want Bella to be with Edward, he wanted Bella all to himself.

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
I wasn't really surprised. I thought maybe it would take a little bit of effort, but then I realized that it really wasn't back to normal at all. Bella was still hurting, only it was a different kind of hurt. She was upset when he left her, even to do his hunting. It will take a long time to recover from that.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
I think it's a lot less dangerous than everyone makes it out to be. And that's all I can say without Breaking Dawn and Eclipse getting in the way of my opinion.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
Oh, it was petty. I was very disappointed in him. Of course I understood why he did it, and I still am a HUGE Jacob fan, but still. Very small of him.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
I was a little sad. He knew that eventually, she would want to permanently join Edward's family in all the ways she can, and he didn't want it to happen. Poor Jake.

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?

No I wasn't surprised...I don't know what I expected...i didn't put too much thought into it.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?

Yeah I did...I didn't think there would be a way to resolve the conflict I hoped that Jacob would get over her and be happy.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?

I thought he was the biggest jerk ever for doing that!

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?

He knew about Bella being changed, it seemed logical to him as well.

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?

I wasn't exactly surprised by how easily things went back to normal, it more of like how sudden everything went back to normal. I just wasn't expecting it. :?

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?

To an extent Bella is playing a bit of a 'dangerous game' with Edward and Jacob. I think it's mostly because of Jacob's clan, the Quileutes, and of course the Cullens being rival groups. But to me Jacob never really fit the picture of what Edward could be for Bella romantically. Jacob does seem protective of Bella, but only in the friendly kind of way. Edward cares and protects Bella more in the sense that he wanst her to be safe. Plus it just seems to me that Jacob is being a bit pushy about trying to replace Edward with himself.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?

OMG. I was so ticked about this part when I read it. I was thinking, "How does Jacob go from being Bella's best guy friend and then go and just turn on her by putting her motorcycle in plain view when he knows Charlie doesn't like Bella with motorcycles. :o

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?

I can't quite remember my exact reaction, I'd have to go back and re-read it. :?

1. Were you at all surprised by how easily things went back to normal? Did you expect something different?
No, I was just happy that things did go back to normal.

2. Do you think Bella is playing a dangerous game trying to be friends with a werewolf and date a vampire? Ignoring what you know about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - how did you think this could ever be resolved? What were your hopes for these relationships at the end of the book?
I thought that her friendship with Jake was over.

3. What did you think about Jacob giving Charlie Bella's motorcycle?
That is one of his mistakes, I'm still holding a grudge on him for that.

4. What did you think about the difference between "bite" and "kill" and the point Jacob was making?
I think they (or just Jake) were being stupid right at this moment. In Breaking Dawn, when Sam decided that Bella was making an informed choice and she wasn't a victim, I was really happy.
