nope not at all, I have imagine him this way! calm collected and spiritual

a great addition! gave lots of insight to Edward and the love his mother felt for him!! they may no remember their human life much but id like to think that he has something to do with their personality, now!

No, I really was NOT excpecting the worst! I thought he needed some space thats all

No, not at all! I was actually pleased, hearing it straight from his mouth and all. It makes sense that he would be, after hearing his story and knowing that he has a cross hanging in his house. I kind of always knew, after Bella's first visit to the Cullen's house.

2. What did you think about the information revealed about Edward's mother?

It was definitely interesting. I like reading about a character's past. It helps to understand that character a little bit better. I really think Edward's mother knew about Carlisle, although I can't figure out how she did it. Maybe it's just an overreaction, and she didn't know. She just wanted Carlisle to try harder.

3. When the kiss happened, did you have any ideas about what was to come?

Yes, I got the impression that Edward was about to leave. The kiss was unnerving, and he doesn't kiss Bella that way unless he's saying "good bye." It was a give-away.

No, Not really. I kinda already thought that he was. It just seemed to fit his character.

I'm glad to finally find out more about Edward. All we had before was the short story of his past. It seems that in addition to the hair and green eyes, Edward also got her strength.

I figured he was going to leave. Just didn't think it would be the way it turned out...

nope, kinda hard not to be, when you've lived on this world for such a long time

i was surprising and touched.

I was already toying with the thought that he might leave.

No, it seemed to go along with the way he is.

I thought it was intresting.

I thought he was going to leave her. It made sense to that he would leave her, but then eventually return.

Yes.

She loved him with her entire soul. I am that kind of mother. In other words, I completely understand her wanting Carlile to change him. I do wonder,though, how she knew...?

I just wondered how the situation would work out.

Not really; he always seemed a very perceptive individual attuned to the world around him. I especially liked his mention of choice and how he simply made the best out of what life had given him. I really, really liked him after that exchange.

Call me dense but I can't remember that....oh yes I do. I don't remember thinking much about it.

Yeah I actually did and I hated it but it also made a lot of sense.

I think it is really sweet and makes Edward sound far more human

I had no idea!!!! I was more suprised than Bella

1. Were you surprised by how spiritual Carlisle is? I was. I had known that these vampires were different from anything else that I've watched, that they have consciences, and battle for the soul.

2. What did you think about the information revealed about Edward's mother? I was touched. Did she really know what Carlisle was, or was it the delirium of the flu and fever, who knows? She knew there was something better for her child, a way he could be saved, and I cried when I read that.

3. When the kiss happened, did you have any ideas about what was to come? Oh dear, I'll try to type between the tears. When the kiss happened, no.... but when she realizes in the last paragraph that the kiss was much the same as the last "goodbye kiss" he gave her... that's when I started to worry. Now, I had also known by way of a piece of Flair on Facebook that Edward leaves during this book; I thought it was JUST Edward, though. I was reading to find out just HOW he was going to leave her- broke my heart, too!
