I've seen the movie and I don't think fans need to worry a lot. The special effects were disappointing, though. The movie very closely follows the book, but it does feel rushed since they had to try to get a lot in a two hour movie. The casting decisions were for the most part pretty good.

Thanks I saw that this morning LIVE. Kristen always seems so negative. "I go to used book stores." bla blah, like she's such an intellectual and doesn't bother with YA books.

I wonder if it's just that she doesn't know how to deal with all the attention she is getting. I know that I don't like to talk to people that I don't really know that well, but she is a celebrity so that seems to come with the job. At any rate maybe she will adjust and realize that it's those how go to see her movies who help her career? I don't know just my thoughts but I was glad to find that on youtube. I missed it. It's cool that they went outside for that
