^That would be awesome! They make plays that are 16 hour long! 3 hours of the Twilight saga would be unbelievable!

It's because the entertainment biz thinks that movies (especially those targeted at teens) that are long, will in the end make them lose money, because people will be too daunted by the length to go and see it.

And a lot of the fans aren't young teens (ahem, me) so I don't think they should change things just to suit them.

I agree, but hollywood's always out just to make money. They know they have the fans for sure, so then they go for those who just want to see what all of the hoopla is about.

I was just thinking about how in Twilight they didn't explain Carlisle's history at all. And a thing I like in Eclipse is getting to hear Rosalie & Jasper tell their stories to Bella. And it got me thinking that they probably won't put their stories in the movie! Now to help explain the army of newborns they would have to explain Jasper's a little bit. But how much would they cut out & would the do it like it is in the book? More things to think & worry about when it comes to the movie.

They better keep their stories! That was one of my favorite parts, too. It explains why Rosalie has been so cold toward Bella, and it explains just how awesome Jasper is! I do think they would shorten their stories, especially the one about the Third Wife.

Stupid, annoying Hollywood people....

I WANT to sit through 3+ hours of Twilight!!!!!!!
