Okay, this has come to be a pet peeve of mine. I got twilight off of iTunes because of that target special offer thing, and under genre, it's put as a "thriller". Please, someone explain that to me! It's not a thriller!!

No, it's not a thriller!! Why can't they get it into their heads that it's a love story? In Norway they took it one step further actually. They call it action/horror movie..... I just gasped when I read it on an online store. Total misunderstanding. To call something a horror movie, it has to be scary. And it's not. Edward is the kindest vampire in history :)

I agree Dovrebanen, not much in the way of horror in the movie. In my mines eye it’s a romance or drama but I can see retailers having a hard time placing this movie into a genre. By the outer appearance it looks to be a scary movie with vampires. But if you watch it, it’s more a chick flick with vampires. That's the only explanation I can come up with why they keep labeling Twilight as Horror or Thriller...anyone else?

Cause I guess it involves supernatural/mystical creatures or something.
Im sure if it just involved humans, then it would be labelled as a comedy/drama.

And possibly because of the fight scene... smashing against things, blood, broken bones.. yada yada.

..not completely sure though

Oh, on barnesandnoble.com Twilight is under the horror section! Well, suspense, too, but really? Horror?!

Well i can understand why the movie is under those catagories because it really had no love in it at all. but if they put the book under that they are out of their minds! Its a science fiction, action, LOVE story.. gah is that so hard to place!?

So which scene from the book taht was left out was the biggest hole in the movie for you and why?

Well...It wasn't totally left out..Just butchered. The meadow. Total lack of the development of the relationship and the understanding that evolved between them. All the confessions and the meanings behind them and the consequences of having all the walls fall down. And this includes the fact that the meadow was actually planned (Edward's special place). And not to mention the kiss after running from the meadow.
Other than that I'm sad that they didnt include Jasper's talent, and how he actually was closer to Bella in the hotel room than he ever was in the whole saga.

I noticed something, it's not a big deal it's just a minor thing. Carlisle's Mercedes is supposed to have very dark tinted windows. And I noticed when they're driving to Arizona and we see the outside shot (especially when Bella's calling her mom) that they're not. Maybe it was because it would be hard to film from outside to the actors inside? I know it's something minor, but that kind of bugged me.
