Re: Special Effects
^ they also had the cullens feeding on the same deer? and no esme.
So the flash backs were just a quick "HELLO we're the cullens - not what you really seeing"
So the wolves are like "Hello we're the big bad wolves (not reallY0 - not what you really WILL be seeing"
ya know?

Re: Special Effects
They would be smart to pull from real wolves as much as possible

Re: Special Effects
Oh definitely, I think it's made pretty clear in the books that they look just like giant horse-sized wolves.soozabooza54 wrote:They would be smart to pull from real wolves as much as possible

They weren''t bad...Edward running and carrying Bella was believable.

Re: Special Effects
Yeah I'm also pretty worried about how they'll do the wolves for New Moon. If it's CGI it better not look too cartoony like the Scooby Doo movie or something. But if they do costumes/real wolves, it will be hard to make them look as big as described in the book.
So I haven't seen anyone mention this on here and I talked about it in the Jasper thread but here it is again... Ok so in the movie companion I read how they attached wires to the apple in the cafeteria so Edward can catch it with his foot and roll up his leg like a hackey sack. Do you think they did something like that with Jasper and the bat flipping at the baseball game?? I would think so, cuz it was just so damn dexterous and quick (not to mention sexy ) but it's kinda hard to tell. What do you guys think?

I dont' think that was wires... I think Jackson is just awesome with his bat skills. hahaha. Then they probably sped up the film a little...
I love that part though. I couldn't stop staring at the bat.

Re: Special Effects
Seriously what was it about that moment that just made Jackson/Jasper so hot?! I thought he looked hot all through the movie, but the whole baseball scene just made him infinitely hotter.

Re: Special Effects
I thought Jasper looked hot during the baseball scene (and I do think that was his own baseball skills - I've seen guys do that, and I'm always amazed they remain conscious throughout. I'd have two black eyes and a headache)
But anytime Jasper was in a quiet "tense" moment I thought he looked like Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka. It must have been the make up, because Jackson is gorgeous, but blech. He got a lot of laughter each time I saw the movie.

Re: Special Effects
Maybe I'm just a weirdo but even when Jasper had those pained expressions on his face and my sister said he looked like Edward Scissorhands (yet another weird Johnny Depp character), I still thought he looked yummy!
