As many people before have said... the best thing about Catherine is her energy. She puts everything she has into a project, and that attitude brushes off on everyone around her. I love that the very first thing she says in all her interviews is "I'm a fan too!" It makes me feel like Stephenie's baby is in good hands (and hopefully it will be babIES!).

I also think, especially for this series, it's really cool and crucial that they got a chick director. Bella is such a powerful character that I just don't think it would *feel* the same if a guy was directing. Just an opinion though. If they DO make more movies, I hope she comes back!

i think that they are doing soemthing RIght having her as the director.. she is perfect for twilight such energy! and i think she takes A LOT of Stephenies creative input.. which is wonderful.. something i always wish had happened more with harry potter because i hate david yates..

but i think she is great i think the movie will be great! YAY!

she was amazing in getting accross emotion in both Thirteen and Lords of dogtown, both with young actors, so hopefully she will have achieved the same thing with Twilight. she is also really cool and down to earth yet crazy at the same time... a great combination!!!

I Love Catherine Hardwicke I've seen all her movies and i have to say everyone of them was amazing! I know she will do an amazing job with Twilight!

Vanilla Sky is one of my most favorite films. I was really excited when I found out CH would be doing Twilight. I think she's really talented and VERY enthusiastic about the series. I think she understands how much these books mean to us and I really don't think she'll let us down!! Oh, geees I just can't wait

I love that in every single interview or every time that we see her, she is so so so pumped about what she is doing and she always reminds us that she is a fan first. Fantastic.
