The Host definatley wins. I thought it was a lot better than The Twilight Saga as a whole and the books individually. I don't really know what it is about The Host that I like better but I am very intrigued by this book.

I can't choose really... I am conflicted. Do I have to pick? Team Host AND Team Twilight?

The host is definately better. it just wins.

the idea of twilight is more addictive than the host (with more heart throbs :D) but the host is better written.
i truly believe it is the best of Stephenie Meyer.
wow, hey someone should get all of steph's books and make it into one big mega book!
it's called 'the bible' hehehe

I refuse to chose. The books are basicaly opposites. One takes place in rainy washington- the other in the desert. Both are amazingly good! I will not chose! I will not chose! EDWARD! IAN! ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

lol, why am i the opposite?
i mean the heart throbs are most definately better in twilight but the emotions in the host are so...passionate.
i got really annoyed when they said that wanda was too self sacrificing though.
she is not bella. Wanda is not Bella. Bella is really annoying and extremely selfish. Wanda is awsome.
when you combine Wanda and Melanie, you get a seriously kickass heroine.

If there were The Host sequels, they would win.
But as of now, Twilight saga wins. :D

well she is thinking of making sequals like 'the seeker' and 'the healer' etc.
if she does, i will actually die with excitement. The host is my apsolute favourite book except for the Hon series.

^Actually, I think the Host ended in a good place. Sometimes, writing sequels when the first one seems to have a very tidy, final finish mkaes the series worse.

But I would love to read about Ian again

lol i know exactly how you feel.
(:| my friend, when she imagined ian, imagined him old, bald and with a beer belly - i mean seriously. in my mind, the guy's hawt!)

and i did very much like where the host ended. i just said that she was thinking of writing more.
it's like where breaking dawn ended and you sort of want to know what happens to the cullens next, what about nessie and jake etc but if she exceeded 'and so we continued blissfully into our small but perfect piece of forever' it would have ruined it.

basically, i agree
