Nice
And now, to get back on topic...
I wonder why the Host doesn't have its own fan community like Twilight. I am Switzerland when it comes to choosing between them, I think they're equally good. I would never be able to chose between Jacob and Ian

if you think about it, there isn't really that much of a phenomema with the host.
i mean it's as good as twilight (if not better) but the twilight fan community is a lot of people raving over, super hot, super cool, super perfect vampires who will live forever and how they will go down in history and what they have yet to come as they face eternity.
the host is about our human race dying and no hero (or bad guy as edward might see himself) to save the day once more. it's about what is left of the crumbling civilisation grouping together in the final struggle. it's about atonement and regret and everyone who you love dying around you. but it's more than death for them, like their souls have been tortured to extinction and they have to live as passafist clones almost (the very element that we humans are not). and then those of us hiding in the bleak, desolate desert have to watch as one by one we start to die.
i just don't think it's a very uplifting topic.
and that (most likely) is why we don't have such a host fan community.

don't you think it's funny that people think of twilight as 'emo' yet never a second glance at how depressing the host can be. it's probably to do with the lack of attention teh host gets which rounds off back to our original topic question.
on a more unlifting note, what's with your picture and banner? i really don't get the ian, jacob black, snow ink thing.

The snow sapphire ink thing is one of the descriptions of Ian in the Host.
The banner with Jace, Jacob and Ian is just to show that I like them :D

Emma, I think you should definitely read it.

You might find it slow and hard to understand at the beginning, but you will get hooked and I think it's defintely worth reading. It's really good, different from twilight though. :D

Definitely. Even if you find the start slow and confusing, it gets really good. And there is an Edward equivalent who makes it worth the slow start :D
