He made me laugh, through out the whole book. "This is my house!" Haha. I loved him. He lost his mind to the point of geniusness! LOL

I think that Jeb can be described as insightful because he is constantly seeing things that a normal person would make nothing of. He was the one that saw that Melanie might still be there. :D
he's funny too

Every family's got a crazy relative. He fit that bill exactly. The way he always has his gun, it reminded me of like..........like................his child. *laughs*

I think Jeb was the foundation for the whole book. He was so sly about sticking up for Wanda/Mel that there were a couple times I actually thought he was the bad guy! He was so funny!

I wonder if he ever used the gun, and if he ever would.

I love Jeb! He's without a doubt one of the best characters Stephenie has ever created to date. I found him hilarious but also really intresting I'd love to sit down and have a nice long chat with him :D

I spent a lot of time wondering why there wasn't a mutiny against Jeb.

I so enjoyed Jeb's character. As soon as I was reading about him, I couldn't get a mental pic of Kris Kristofferson with longer hair and ponytail out of my head. That persisted until the end. No one else got an actual actor's face like Jeb. :D

I think Jeb was my favorite character. He was interesting and slightly eccentric (in a good way) and would lay down the law. I really like him!

I think in the end, the people there did respect that it was his house. He built the place, before there was a need. He came up with the mirror, irrigation. He made life there possible, he was quirky but he knew how to survive. I think he was trusted for that. I think enough people would stick up for him, a mutiny wouldn't happen.

I thought he was sort of Bella for insightfulness. He was the guy who saw what no one else saw probably because he was willing to look. I think when he realized that Mel/Wanda was alone and had no good reason ( seeking or something ) to be there and basically put herself in danger and at their mercy. He thought there had to be something to that. It's like in Twilight, no one ever thought about looking into their eyes or asking their side of story, they just looked beyond it. Jared saw that she had jumped in front of him but ignored it. He caught all the little times she did stuff "out of character for an evil soul" and stood up for her enough to see if he could get to the truth.
