I don't really have a favorite mine, but my favorite scene is after the tribunal in the recreational room and after Jared and Wanda finally talk about Mel being in her. It is when Ian, Jared, and Jamie all bring Wanda snacks because it was kind of like when all the boys asked Bella to the dance. They were trying to take care of her and win her love. I was laughing through that whole thing because it seemed so funny that they would all do that for her.

My absolute favorite line would have to be when Wanderer is driving going to visit her Healer, and Melanie keeps on forcing memories on her. Well, right after the memory about Melanie, Jared and Jamie at the canyon which is their home, there's the quote "You never know how much time you'll have. The tears that I was crying belonged to both of us." But the book has some pretty good other quotes in it, too.

I have to completely agree.

"It's not the face, but the expressions on it. It's not the voice, but what you say. It's not how you look in that body, but the things you do with it. You are beautiful" -Ian, p.390

Jamie: "You want something, Ian?"
Ian: "Sure, kid. I want you to tell Jared he's shameless."
Jamie: "Huh?"
Ian: "Never mind. Go get Wanda some lunch." -p.395

Jared: "Fine... But if you try cuddling up to me tonight... so help me O'Shea."
Ian: "Not to sound overly arrogant, but to be perfectly honest, Jared, were I so inclined, I think I could do better." -p.483

And of course, everyone's fave (or so it seems): "You. Are. Not. Leaving. Me." -Ian, p.572

Those're all I can think of right now.

Those are mine as well.

There are so many quotes in this book that are amazing. Like those ones. ^^^^^

But pretty much everything that came out of Ian's mouth made my heart skip a beat. Whenever he wasn't in the book I was like NOOO WHERE'S IAN!?
Pretty much the same reaction I ad when Edward left. But then Jake came. :D

One of my favorite lines is definitely (someone said this earlier) "It's not the face, but the expressions on it. It's not the voice, but what you say. It's not how you look in that body, but the things you do with it. YOU are beautiful." I think that is absolutely true for anyone who loves somebody. THIS is what you should think about that person to know that you truly love them (in my opinion).

Also: "That's her face. And her neck. Don't the bruises there BOTHER you?" page 169, after Jared first fnds Jamie talking to Wanda, I think. I felt like saying "yeah, Jared. Don't they?" I don't know why, but it makes me go to the defense of Jamie. Jared isn't always right.

And also: "You don't have to go back in that hole, honey. The worst parts over." page 191, after Jared leaves and Jeb takes over. I loved Jeb so much more for his sympathy toward Wanda at that point.

I'll probably come up wih more later :D

These two definitely had me laughing out loud which I rarely do when reading.
One (of the many) that had me tearing up was Doc to Wanda...(forgive me if it's off- don't have my book)

I'll never forget you. The universe will be a darker place without you in it.

Told you I'd be back with more!!

"You're safe. Don't be afraid." page 346, by Jared, after Kyle tries to kill Wanda and Jared makes sure he doesn't try again in th hospital. Jamie said the exact same thing when Wanda thought they were going to kill her during Jeb's tour and for some reason, that idea just stuck. Jared does care.

"Why do you love him?" page 370, by Jared, after the tribunal of Kyle trying to kill Wanda. Again, this line just got to me because Wanda never could answer it and it just stuck in my mind. I love Jared.

"Who's got the crush on a worm, bro? You gonna call me stupid?" page 376, by Kyle, after the game in the rec room. Ian's infatuation was finally known. And Kyle makes me laugh sometimes. I can just imagine him saying this line . . .

"The girl in there, that body doesn't belong to her. Keep your hands off it." page 383, by Jared, after the game when Ian takes Wanda to his room. It is such a powerful line and shows just how much Jared cares and believes them now.

"Please, Wanda. Please eat something." page 418, by Ian, after Wanda has been mourning for a while over the dead souls. It makes ME feel guilty to hear this line, how much pain Ian must be in to see Wanda doing this to herself. He is just Sooooooo caring.

"And I'll be there to bring you all back alive." page 474, by Jared, after Jamie is healed and they are talking about Wanda going out again. It seems so funny after all the reasons everyone else is going and then Jared just chimes in and says. I personally find it hysterical.

"Once we learned to love our human host, what hope did we sould have?" page 510, by Wanda, after she realizes how to save the Seeker. I think it is powerful and the epitome of the book.

"But I love YOU, doesn't that matter?" page 574, by Ian, after Wanda tells him that she needs to give Mel her body back. Shows how much Ian loves her and what he is willing to do to keep her with him.

"This body barely belonged to me or to Melanie- it belonged to him." page 579, by Wanda, during the second tribunal for Wanda's life. For me, this is so powerful and it is true. The body wasn't Melanie's to give, it was Jared's. Words can't express how powerful it was to me.

"I tried to hold on to the thought of Ian, but it was hard with Jared's hand touching me, with the smell in my nose. Like trying to make out the song of one violin when the entire percussion section was bashing away." page 590, by Wanda, when Jared finds her going to Doc to die. To me, it is the perfect analogy for what she is going through. Such a perfect description.

"You're you, and you're right where you belong." page 602, by Ian, after Wanda wakes up in Pet's body. Ian is so sweet and I can imagine him saying this one perfect line. Again, another epitome of the book.

DEFINATELY agree.

But also I REALLY love that line, thats only been mentioned once here:

"Nobody's ever sorry for hitting Kyle."

I loved the humour of this book. It wasn't overpowering, but it was GREAT.
