First of all, i"m crazy stoked that this is being made into a film. I literally stayed up all night reading this book.

For Melanie, I picture Camilla Belle or Kristen Kreuk.

For Wanda, at the END of the book, I picture Bonnie Wright.

I'm not keen on the idea of actors playing any book character for several reasons. I much prefer browsing through peoples' artwork to see all the new faces they can come up with.

Okay so heres what I'm thinking for Melanie. She needs to obviously be pretty, but in a more natural, rustic, athletic, bad-ass type way. ANd def not Megan Fox, she's way to Maxim. More around the lines of Elisha Dushku, but she is probably a little too old at this point. So I think that Briana Evigan from Step Up 2 and Sorority Row would be great. Gorgeous, but in a natural way, and totally athletic and with that down-to-earth type vibe.

The problem I have with people trying to find actors is that they don't seem to take book descriptions into consideration. It seems they'd rather ignore what the author says and come up with their own ideas on how people should look.
