Maybe as a joke - Peter Facinelli? (joking! - he plays enough doctors).

Maybe, MAYBE Kevin McKidd from Grey's Anatomy, but he's too tough looking, isnt he?

for me the perfect doc is William Petersen from CSI who played Gil Grisson

I could see William Peterson in that role. However, I think it's possible Doc will be a much more minor role in the movie, It's even possible the role of doctor might be given to one of the other characters. No one's been announced in that role, so that makes we wonder.

I'm relieved to discover that I was wrong about them melding the role of Doc with another character. Scott Lawrence has been cast. It's not how I pictured Doc, but hey, I'm sure he'll do fine!
