Lucy Liu could make a good Seeker. All I know is that whoever plays this role needs to make me think of nails running down a chalk board.

I've always liked Christina Ricci for the part of the Seeker- she has tight, unique features, olive toned skin, and dark hair. She is who I pictured the entire time while I was reading the book, although visions of Edna Mode from The Incredibles kept popping up in my mind whenever the seeker was being especially annoying.

What about Jada Pinkett Smith? She's small and tiny and I think could definitely play annoying.

Agreed on Cristina Ricci - I pictured her too when I was reading... Kind of a goth glasses-less Rita Skeeter...

Another idea would be to rope in Kristin Chenoweth with black hair... probably wrong skin tone, but she's got the right height and chirpy insistence that can be annoying if need be. She'd definitely be playing against type, but as a stage actress she might enjoy that.

Jada Pinkett Smith would be interesting and could work, but you kind of run into a line of both Twilight and Host having as their only black actor a bad guy. Not quite a good idea...

ARGH! No! She cannot be blond and adorable. I was actually thinking Kate Micucci. She's short and has these bug eyes that just pop out at you, just like the Seeker.
She's mostly a comedian but she's acted on Scrubs and a Disney Channel Show before (Not the best resume but she's PERFECT!!!!)

Kristin Chenoweth could definitely pull it off acting-wise. I can't really see her with dark hair, but that's the least of our troubles.
Cristina Ricci could do it, but Im not familiar with any of her acting, so I cant really say.
I'll edit this post when I have any new ideas, but so far, Im coming up blank.
