I just read this one and I came here to share it with you:
"For almost ninety years I've walked among my kind, and yours... all the time thinking I was complete in myself, not realizing what I was seeking. And not finding anything, because you weren't alive yet." Twilight, p. 304.
At least, we know what we are seeking and, thanks God, it won't take ninety years before we get it... :D

Another good find Kate! :D

I agree, hopefully God will be kind and that we don't have to wait that long.
Besides I want to read it myself and not ask my grandchildren or their Children
to read Midnight Sun for me.

To Karl: I will Pm you! :)

Does the fact that Stephenie publish the Bree's story give you hope?

For me it does cause it means the "voices" of her characters
inside her head are still talking and she's still willing to listen to them.

So its definitely a yes for me, What about you Kate? :D

Firstly, I taught like you… Until I read this:
I began this story a long time ago—before Twilight was even released. Back then I was just editing Eclipse, and in the thick of my vampire world. I was thinking a lot about the newborns, imagining their side of the story, and one thing led to another.
From her website.

Sadly, it’s not a new story she just wrote… So, I keep hope with the idea that maybe the editing process of the story of Bree will give her the taste to engage herself in other vampire project… And, maybe, bring back her "voice"… :D

:D “Hope keeps me alive” French proverb. :D

I too, am a MS virgin

It's not really that hard not to read it... I read ONE page, uno, and it was crap, nothing like SM's standards

Another good find Kate but that's kind of a sad one too, but yeah it does make you think about it.
We'll just have to wait for the best.

Ohh... another virgin. ;)

Hi, I'm Karl. I don't think you've introduced yourself in the "The New Kid in Town" thread. :D
