Well here I am again on the Lex at midnight. It's 1230 am over here in Texas. Just surfing the web, playing a game on pogo, and checking the weather to see where Hurricane Gustav is headed. I hope not my way.

and now I am kinda tired so I'm probably gonna brush my teeth and go to sleeeep.
Lake tomorrow, but not if I can help it. Its supposed to be like 65 degrees, and thats too cold for me to actually go boating and wake surf and do the air chair and tube and stuff.
It needs to be a minimum of 80. Ha.

I am a nightowl. And I'm also very bored!!! Just catching up with some Twilight on the Lex, it's been a while since I posted. I've got the tv on SNL, not really watching, but I still like to have the tv on so it doesn't sound like I'm completely alone. I wanted to go out tonight, but I don't know many people here and going out by myself, especially downtown, is not a good idea. We've had this guy out assaulting women around the area, one was downtown, so I'm just stuck here. Has anyone actually gone out to a bar alone?

Wow! It's 12:30 am. It's my birthday. I'm a little sad. I have to say I'm 42 two now. Somehow 41 wasn't really in my 40's but 42 is. *sigh* Time to put my old butt to bed.

12:41 my time, I am always on the Lex this time of night looking for a good chat and lurking on the forums adding some input here and there. Kinda my favorite passtime nowadays when I cant fall asleep.
Or when I just dont want to.

It's just now a couple of minutes after midnight. It's funny. I stay up late all the time...no problem. Now that it's the weekend, and I don't need to get up early in the morning, I am having trouble staying awake.
I'm wasting time looking at bumper stickers on Facebook, posting on Lex, and talking to my bestie on YM. I'm also texting with CherryKnots.

Happy Birthday! As one of my favorite teachers put it, she was 50+1, she didn't like the number 52. She was a bit eccentric. If you don't like 42, why don't you just say you're 39+3? You're in you're 30s plus some! Just remember, you're only as old as you feel, and that you're blessed for the time you've had and the time ahead. Life is short, don't sweat it! You have any plans for your new year?
