The House of Night Novels by PC Cast and Kristin Cast

Those are the only other vampire books that stick out in my head at the moment.

But there is also the Anita Blake series
But it is more for adults than anything

Anything by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (excluding the Kieshra Series) its not really like Twilight but there are vampires and they are all very well written.

I want to second the Vampire Diaries, but also would like to add the entire Night World series by L.J. Smith (same author as the Vampire Diares). They are SO AWESOME!!!

There is the Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Shreiber. They're not as good as Twilight but they are pretty interesting! There is also The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause and Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde.

Also Tantalize was really good. Anne Rice's books a dark and more bloody but they're pretty good as well. I personally loved Queen of the Damned.

Ok, I'm gonna also say The Vampire Diaries! Stefan is so HOT!

There's also the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. I've read the first and hope I can read the others soon.

there is Vampire Academy. they are pretty good but Twilight is WAAAAAYYYYYYY better
