Good YA Vampire books...
Evernight and Stargazer (2nd on in the series)- Claudia Gray... I just finished the 2nd.
Blue Bloods- Melissa De la Cruz
Blue is for Nightmares Series- Laurie Stolarz, not a vampire book, but amazing none the less.

It has probably been metioned on this thread already before but i think it sounds really good and i am going to walk into a good bookstore and buy it.
BLURB:
First rule: Don't call them vampires. That's just a ridiculous term. The proper label is parasite-positives, or "peeps." Maybe some people think that peeps have a few things in common with vampires of legend, but New York City is a long way from the Carpathian Mountains.
Second rule: Whatever you do, don't forget the anathema, when peeps start hating the things they used to love. The anathema hurts, but in a good way.
These rules to live by are a part of Cal Thompson's daily life. Cal is a peep hunter, sworn to protect New York from the spread of the parasite that, well, makes people act like vampires, if you have to use that word. Cal himself was infected with the parasite, but on him it works differently. He has the superpowers and the urge to feed, but he can still live among those who don't carry the parasite. In a quest to track down the woman who gave him the parasite, he peels away the layers of a mystery involving rats, cats, writing on a wall, and a building with more than a health club in its basement.

I also like the House of Night series!
I don't think any book will be able to compare to the Twilight series because Twilight was truly the book that got me excited to read! I didn't care for reading so much until after I read the first book then flew through the rest of the series! Twilight got me excited to find more books! I have found so many other books that are also my favorites, but they are all loved in different ways!

So far no book can hold a candle for my love of Twilight nor do I think anything well. However I have read a lot of books since then and there are ones that I had to buy and place on my library books shelf. I think my Twilight shelf needed some friends
. Vampire Academy series was one, non vampire but definitely worth the read. Matched trilogy ,Fallen series.

. I become bored with House of Night in book 3. Never finished it. Now Vampire Academy is as yummy as Twilight Series. They are technically still about vampire though a different "species" of vampire. Never the less I love the action packed series of VA. I haven't read the 2nd booked of Matched though it is in my too long "to be read" list. Fallen series bored me a bit too but book 3 is also on my list.
