Who Loves Charlie Brown or Snoopy?

It was always a constant debate between some of my friends. Who's better: Snoopy or Scooby-Doo? I was always for Snoopy. I mean, he's a WW1 flying ace, writes books, wins christmas competitions, and totally kicks butt!! Scooby-Doo just eats, gets scared, and goofs off with Shaggy as they let Velma, Daphne, and Fred do all the solving (most of it being Velma).
But my absolute FAVORITE part in all of Peanuts is Linus' Christmas speech, where he quotes in Luke. It always gives me chills!

The Charlie Brown movies just brighten my day, no matter what. Bring back old memories and good times when I was little I wish Charles Schultz was still alive.

I love Peanuts - they were one of my most favorite cartoons! When I was little, I hoped that I could one day be Snoopy...ah, from the mouth of children! It seemed Snoopy always had such fun and a GREAT imagination. Plus, nothing could ever keep him down. Snoopy was an eternal optimist and who can't love a guy that has a sidekick. Woodstock was a fantastic little sidekick. In some ways, Woodstock and Charlie Brown had a lot in common - they were the ones who took the brunt of the jokes.

One of the things that annoys me though is that they have newer Peanuts, but there is no Linus. Instead, Lucy has a brother named Rerun, but he's not like Linus at all. I can't watch those ones. I mean, Peanuts without Linus? That's blasphemy!

I was never a huge Peanuts fan. If I had to choose over Snoopy or Charlie - I would go with snoopy, but what I really want to know is

What kind of bird is Woodstock???

I can't watch the new ones, either. They went too far by making the new ones. There should be a law against messing with the classics.

I'm not sure if Woodstock is supposed to be anything. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. *Shrug.*

I absolutely love Snoopy. He's so cute. My favorite multi-personality of him is Joe Cool. There's a shirt that I really want with him as Joe Cool on it. But I can't find it anywhere. But I've got a Snoopy stuffed animal. I love it. Anyways, yeah. He's just awesome.

Charlie Brown = AWESOMENESS. I just love those cartoons. I was watching "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Snoopy, Come Home" on abc family the other day.

i love snoopy and the peanuts!!!! We did a production of " Your A Good Man Charlie Brown" And i was Peppermint Pattie. I also have a big sticker of snoopy on the back of my phone and a little one of Woodstock on the front.

P.S. Isn't Woodstock a canary or yellow bird of some sort???
