I play the flute. I'm all grown up and don't have a class to make grades in anymore so I make myself play in church once a year as a tribute to my mother who made me practice. When I started doing that she was so touched she bought me a real silver flute and I was able to get rid of the nickle plated one I'd had since fourth grade. It felt nice to have a "nice" grown-up flute.

i was the master of the tenor recorder.

now i just strum away (poorly) on my ukulele.

I play the Piano. Have been since the age of 5.
Now I teach it to other 5 year olds in my spare time.....

One question to all other saxaphonist...
What kind of reeds do you use, as in the numbers, not the brand? Cuz I just got some new threes, and I'm wondering if they're supposed to be so hard to play, or if I'm just a wimp...

Cuz I just got some new threes, and I'm wondering if they're supposed to be so hard to play, or if I'm just a wimp.. my friend plays with a size three reed, and she said its kind of hard to play, you just have to get use it. i play the clarinet. i've been playing for three years now.

One of my friends plays Alto, she used to play with a 2, but moved up to a 3. She complained a TON at first, but now she says it is pretty easy.

Flute is my primary instrument. I've been playing it for about 5 years now. Last year in concert band class at school, I decided to play the piccolo. I've played the picc for about a year now (I alternate between the picc and flute in concert band). In jazz band, I stick to the flute.

I can also play trombone, although I only played it for about a month. I started playing it 3 years after I started playing the flute, and plain and simply, I just didn't like it.

Guitar is going to be my next instrument I'll learn, but I need new strings for the guitar I have.

I've also played recorder in the past.

I play a really random instrument... the oboe ohhhh. yeahhh.

But I love it, even though it is like the most difficult instrument to play correctly. It's fun though. I'm such a band nerd.
