whew how did i only just discover this thread?! annnyywwaaayysss i play : the flute, i can sing (havent had lessons for a few years though) and am teaching myself the acoustic guitar and i guess if we're counting this i played the recorder until i was about 12 :lol:

I play the piano for 8 years now, I think. And I just started to play the guiter a week ago. Had my second lesson today

I've been playing the violin for about 5years now, and have had no formal training with viola but it's similar to the violin so I've been able to pick it up somewhat. My cousin has also been teaching me some piano, and though I'm failing miserably at sight reading I've managed to learn to play fur elise!

Ok. so music is my whooooooooooooolllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeee life. I don't know what i'd be if i didn't have it.

So this is my music story:

2-18yo: Singing :mrgreen:

6-8yo: Recorder (haha, we all start somewhere!)
6-18yo: piano (but only sporatically, I didn't like my piano teacher when I was little, so I gave up on lessons. Been teaching myself since 13. Now i mostly play as accompany to my singing)
8-15yo: Flute (gave it up to focus on singing but I'm thinking of picking it up again)

What i wish I could play:
Cello
Acoustic Guitar
Violin
Sax
Drums

I have been learning to play the guitar for about 5 yrs. slow process. I am hoping to play an song by rob one day. I wold think that would motivate me, but not yet.

I forgot I am learning the violin with my daughter. She is learning and i have to learn with her because she is so young.
