Random side note: In bio today we're learning about evolution and natural selection and all that jazz (ick) and my teacher was discussing how some people think humans will become a blended race eventually, due to all of the traveling occurring. Then she said, "But I don't think it'll ever happen. Like the Amish are always going to stay in their little communities. And...like..." at this point she was looking for another example, because she had used the Amish previously and continued, "like the Mormons up in Utah that stay up there."
Me and my fellow LDS friend sit next to each other and we just looked at one another with raised eyebrows, kinda shocked. We also laughed about it.

The human race is well on it's way to becoming blended, it probably would never happen completely because of the skin heads and other isolationist groups, and of course small tribes that have little contact with the outside world and people who wouldn't conmcider themselves racist but still wouldn't be likely to procreate with someone outside of their race. It would take AT LEAST five or six generations for humanity to blend.

Of course, all I need to do is have babies with an asian and my kids will have genetics from every continent......

Eeeep!!! I got an e-mail from BYU telling me that on the 19th is when I'm going to find out if I'm in or not!
This has been an exhausting month with my patience levels.

I'm already getting letters from colleges and universities, even if I am only a sophomore... It's already making my head spin...

Ugh, I got those letters and pamphlets too (it's died down though) and sometimes it's just like, uh...do you really think I'm going to want to go to Kansas?
And it's uber annoying when they send you an email, but no option to unsubscribe, so you keep on getting stuff from them >.<
