^^^I have a really good recipe I got from my IWA (Institute Woman's Association. It's basically kind of like YW's for 20 year olds. We have a weekly activity.) I have not made it myself yet but it's soooooo yummy!

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup Hershey's unsweetened cocoa
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
5 1/2 cups milk (more if desired)
1 1/2 cups cream
1/2 tablespoon vanilla

In a saucepan combine sugar, cocoa, and salt: add water. Cook & stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Boil & stir 2 minutes. Stir in milk & cream & heat. DO NOT BOIL! Remove from heat & add vanilla. For an extra yummy treat add a scoop of vanilla ice cream just before serving.

Huh. Salt in cocoa? Never would've thought.

That sounds soooo good! I may have to try it someday.

I guess I should say IWA is for college-aged women.
Anyone going to college soon & if they have it available I would suggest going. It's A LOT of fun & you meet wonderful women & make new friends (especially if you're going to be away from home.) I love my group & my leader. They are amazing!

I know I was surprised when reading the recipe that there was salt in it. I couldn't taste it the time I've had it. It is so yummy. Better than any hot cocoa powder I've had. (Even than stephens. I don't know if you can buy it outside of Utah but everyone here loves that brand & this was better!)

Is IWA part of institute? Or your ward or what?

It is associated with the Institute program. You get Institute credit for being involved in it.

They have IWA and IMA (for the males) and MSA (for married students.)

Hm...I wonder if they even have that down here, because I've never heard anyone talk about it.

I don't know either. I thought it would have been available at all universities that have an LDS Institute. Maybe not.

It used to be an LDS Sorority but since that title has such a bad conotation with it they changed the name.

Well, mostly everyone I know that goes to institute goes to a community college one, but I have a friend that goes to a university here and goes to that institute and she hasn't talked about it. Of course, she also goes to church with the local singles branch, rather than the one specifically for the university.
