Ah the Emerald Isle

That is the most annoying name ever created for Ireland...appart fromm the fact that its more brown than green from all the rain.

I just got back from Ireland on the 28th. I was there for a week. My wife and I took an escorted vacation. I was not impressed with Dublin though. It was kind of dirty and lots of graffiti. Once we left Dublin though it was awesome.

What an absolute beautiful country. All the local we ran into were so cool! We were in a different city every night which meant a different pun every night. Had lots of drinks bought for us. Locals were very friendly.

I would love to go back and see more of the history.

Lets see, we went to Westport, Limierick, Kilarney, Adare, Kilkenny, Cork, Gallway, Baleena, and Blarney. I really liked Westport and Kilarney. Had the most fun in Limerick though. That was our Pub night out.

I havent been to half them places and Ive lived here my whole life.Ive only been to Galway,Clare and Down.
Did you go to see the Burren or the Ailwee caves?

No we did not go to the caves. We just did the tourist thing. Went to Blarney Castle, Kilkenny Castle. and of course the Ring of Kerry! What beautiful drive that was. I am sure the tour company just took us to the popular spots.

Where do you live?

The Countryside in Clare is class,you should go there if you ever come over again.
I live in Cavan.Its not half as good as some other places and its mainly just hills and lakes.and it rains...a lot.

Surprisingly, we did not have one drop of rain the whole week we were there.

I know we passed through County Clare. I do remember it was very picturesque. Have you ever been to the states?
