Well, I don't think I would like Twilight as much to be honest, and what would the conflict be between Bella and Edward being together? There isn't much danger with mermaids, seriously, whats the worst that could happen? "I will beat you in a SWIM OFF!" haha

someone needs to write a fanfic with mermaids instead of vampires. it would be so bad, it would be awesome.

I totally just asked my Anthropology professor if it was possible that one day humans would evolve into mermaids! I know its said, but he said that he didnt think that that evloutionary process would be possible. It would be a strange condition for a mutation. Although maybe webbed toes are just the beginning

Well if you look at Micheal Phelps he's about as close to a fish as you can get. All you would need to add is scales and a tale and he'd BE a fish.

I think that it would be as awesome as with the vampire theme, because Stephenie would have the same plot. I only can't think of what would the werewolves be? Maybe octopus-shifters? hahahah!!
