Sarah, you're going to love it!

I got City of Glass today! It came earlier than I thought it would, but I'm not complaining. :D

I finished it!

Wopw, a lot happened. I think City of Bones is still my favourite, but that was really good. Wouldn't have guessed!

I jus started the series Monday. I finished City of Bones Wednesday and I'm reading City of Ashes (haven't gotten City of Glass yet)
It was a totally rancom impulse-born-of-boredom-buy. I picked it up and said. I'll try it
and I love it. Super awesome.

OOooo...that is exciting! I would definitely read another MI. And I really liked Simon. Not sure how I feel about her term "splintering relationships" in the press release. I don't want "splintering relationships". I want everyone to be happy!

I think it would be interesting to see a movie, but at the same time, I can't imagine it in live form. Jace is a bit like Edward to me. I have an image in my head that no actor is going to fulfill. I look forward to hearing more on this as time goes on.

I hope the screenwriter does really good dialogue.
I think that's part of why I loved it so much, the lines are really witty and funny. Then the actors will have to be amazing to fulfill those lines.
It'll be interesting to see who they cast.

I wonder what this means for the Infernal Devices, I was really looking forward to that first book. Does anyone know (sorry, I have forgotten) when it is due out? I will say, I would love to revisit Simon, to know, after the curse, that he'll be okay.

We had some fun back in the beginning of this thread casting the characters of the book. My Jace while I was reading looked a little like Jeremy Sumpter. He just has the mischevious thing going in his personality. He might need a little help gothing up though. He was the right age when the series started. At 20 years old now, he's grown up kinda cute.

I've just finished re-reading the whole series, i hadn't read the first two for over a year when i got City of Glass, so i had to go home and pick them up. I love the story and the twists and turns in it, Clary and Jace being brother and sister, and then not...it's brilliantly written and i'm really looking forward to the fourth, although Simon is not one of my favourite characters, it will be very interesting to see what he has to say.

A movie?! YAY! I'm not sure who i want to play Jace or Clary, i think it would be cool to use unknown actors, although i think Ian McKellan would be good as Hodge...although after playing Gandalf it might be bit to similar. Or how about Patrick Stewart?
Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this?
