I love it

i even do some poetry myself like here is one i did for New Moon.

He Was Gone........

Searching ever searching
Flashes of green
I Scream
You left me in the Twilight
You said it was the safest place for us
You lied
And left me behind
The New Moon lingers
"It will be as if I never existed"
A promise broken
Because you are everywher
And I won't leave you behind
So terrified you might be forgotten
I will stay here praying for you
Please return to me
For as soon as the words were spoken
You were Forgiven in the Twilight
~Kasey
So let me know what you think.

I wrote this one in one of my dark periods. Hpoe you like it.

Unspoken

No one will ever know what’s behind the mask
Behind all the make up there is a child
Lonely and scared she cries
In the shadow of her secrets she dies

No one ever sees what’s in her mind
They will never really understand
She’d been through a lot
And nobody ever knows, she lies

Even she never knows
Where does that emptiness comes from
It’s like somebody has stolen her soul

And she cries, and she screams
She knows about sadness and love
And emotions, she feels, she dreams
Like everyone else does

But she’s so different from others,
She could drink her own blood
Just to know if it satiate her
And fill the void in her heart

Cause there’s no God, no religion
That can make her feel something
Like the others can
And in songs she hides her secret
Because no one will ever understand

This is me, the real me
No make up, no mask
Not even one lie
Scared of those around me
Cause I’m not like them

I’m like an angel without wings
I’m like a demon on earth
Far away from where they belong
With no chance to tell their story
Cause no one will ever believe
The sadness behind this glory
The words I will never tell

I’m dead, I’m broken
My truth will remain unspoken
As other demons arise
As other angels fall
Until my eyes close
Until my life is gone

I really am a happy person, I just tend to write about the other stuff.. :?

It Makes Sense

I am losing things.
Sand falling through still fingers.
My head is foggy.
I move too slow.
Can my mind fade away?
Is that possible?
My train of thought........
Like watching sand through still fingers.
Am I done?
I didn't do any of it right...
But I think I tried.
My days are filled with undesirable things.
Full and empty simultaneously.
Moving Slowly.
Getting nowhere.
It gets better.
Someone said that.
Who said that?
Maybe I made that up?
I think it will get better.
What has been lost may return.
It makes sense.
I think it will get better.

Edward talks to me in my head.....they tried to give me medication for that but I wouldn't let them.

Time is a marker in one's life
Time is gold
Time is what enunciates the difference between young
And the old
Time can result in good
Time can result in evil
Time is demonstrated in seconds and minutes
Hours and days
Years and decades
Centuries and millenniums
Time is forever

That's just a sample. I have a couple other one's written. Check them out at http://www.poetry4kids.com. Name's TopazTears1527. :)

I wrote some in 3rd grade and now are looking through them, I really like this one, I wrote it after my grandpa died.

Do you remember me?
Reading books and encyclopedias.

Do you remember me?
You made me cake on my birthday.

Do you remember me?
You forgot my birthday this year.

Do you remember me?
Grandma said you were up in the sky in a place called Heaven, do you like it up there?

Do you remember me?
Because I remember you.

I basically summed it all up it's fairly long.

There's some really awesome poetry here. :) I can tell it was written honestly. I'd recommend this message board: http://thewritersdraft.englishboards.com/index.htm to anyone who likes writing. Some Lexers put it together earlier this year and we all have a blast. Here's a poem I have posted there (it was here, too, before the crash, so some of you may have seen it already.)

"Baseball with the Cullens"

The sky's a dark and nasty brew--
A tribute to the summer squall.
But this is Carlisle Cullen's cue,
To bring out once more the bat and ball.

The competition's in the field,
And braving out the stormy day,
But their destiny is sealed,
As soon as Alice starts to play.

The ball is thrown; the bat is swung,
A ruckus that is never heard.
Next thing you know the play is done--
Edward on second, stealing third.

The sun comes out; the game is over.
By now the visitors are sullen.
They walk away, their faces sober,
'Cause no one plays baseball quite like the Cullens.
