Okay--this one's from Jazz to Alice

A ghost walked the roads
Lonely and broken
Wishing the pain would end

Wounded and bleeding
Flayed and torn open
Over and over again

Then I found healing
A break from the rain
You skipped in and took my hand

No longer a spectre
A man once again
You made my heart beat once more

Ever together
Never the same
My love, my heart, my soul
Alice

Working Titles

There she sits
picking at a scab.
Her fingernails are Emerald City, her toes Wild Thing.
Can You see her?

There she sits
pretending she's not hungry.
Breakfast was a diet pill, lunch a bottle of water.
Can you see her?

There she sits
swaying to the music.
A smile on her lips, tears in her heart.
Can you see her?

It's okay, no one else can either.
