I am 3 - a little years away from college but every summer I spend a week at Cornell for career explorations. It is my dream to go there someday =]

I am a junior at University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I really do love it here because I grew up 30 minutes away and a lot of my friends went here. If I could change one thing though, I wish it were a smaller campus. (I know I have nothing to complain about with all these Longhorns on here ;) which I am rooting for you guys to be Oklahoma this Saturday!!!!!!).
I guess another problem I have with college is I am not exactly sure I know what i want to do. Right now I am doing environmental science and I love it but I only settled on it because it is the most interesting subject to me. I just don't feel like I have found anything I want to do for the rest of my life. I only have a little over a year of college yet and it is so overwhelming to think about stepping out into the real world.

We beat OU, so I guess your rooting there worked. Thanks!!

Big campuses are a doozey but i think it allows for a greater diversity. I know that UT is like its own little city and i really wouldn't change it for the world. Classes are a little far away from each other but thats fine. It gives me great legs. Hahahaha

I know somebody at Oklahoma University! She's a freshman if any of you are freshmen?

I go to a small liberal arts school in PA but I'm abroad right now in Spain (junior year abroad :D ) because I'm a Spanish major/French minor. Next semester I will be in France so I'm spending the whole academic year in Europe. One of the reasons I ended up going to the school I attend was because of their "global education" and the fact they had very strong study abroad programs literally all over the world (even if you don't want to go through the college's study abroad programs, you can find another one that suits your needs if it can get approved by Global Ed). So this year I'm not really living the traditional dorm style college life.

However prior to going abroad, I lived in dorms for a year and a half. I really liked my dorm freshman year, people kept their doors open and popped in and out of rooms at will. The dorm I lived in last year was different, usually because upper classmen are more prone to privacy and the dorm was overwhelmingly full of single rooms (I lived in a double though). However I love living in a dorm.

I also started college a semester later than most, not by choice but because my college didn't have room for me for the fall semester and had this small Jan. start program in the spring... I wanted to go there very badly so I accepted. Looking back though I either should have deferred my admission to the following year/insisted they accept the fall semester. It was a hard transition, esp. after I came back after a long summer break with basically no contact from anybody at my school. So I joined a sorority (kappa alpha theta) to meet new people and it's been a positive and negative experience at once! However now I have friends and I'm loving living abroad!

Anyways that's my college story. :)

I absolutely love college...I'm a senior but I feel like I'm never going to graduate since my double major is taking longer (I also transferred from a private college to a public university and lost credits)...This coming summer I am going to study abroad in Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya) and China...and the sweet part is you don't have to be a language student to get the credits...Africa should be fun since its like a big camping trip and we get to go to a wildlife reserve where they rescue baby lions...

What is your major if you don't mind me asking? I was wondering because I plan on studying abroad in Africa also when I get to college (imma high school senior). And I plan on working with animals as a Zoology major.

I'm currently in college. I go to a relatively small school, just over 9000 students. The town it's in is barely bigger than that (truly a college town.) I'm in my 4th year although I still have some time until I graduate. I work at the only place on campus that doesn't close, the police station.

MissMagnolia I have a bunch of friend that go to UT-Knoxville. Of course, even more go to MTSU. Most of them are in their 4th year as well.

I'm a pre-law major (English and History) but they offer the trips in the summer to students of any discipline...I plan to go on to law school and focus on international law

I go to the University of New Hampshire. Freshman year was a little sketchy for me, because I'm shy at first, but it's getting better now that I'm almost a junior! I'm going to be living in an apartment with 5 other girls next semester and I'm so excited!

I'm at college... but to other countries, it's high school. We have University instead. So I shouldn't really be here... Bye!
